Has anyone stayed at the Anaheim Plaza? This will be our 1st trip to Disneyland!!:hyper:!!! and will be 1st time ever we've stayed off site!.

We booked this hotel as it is right across the street from the parks (?) but having a look at some of the posts on here, no one seems to mention it..

TIA

I've stayed there last June. You have to pay about $4 parking but they will let you stay parked there until midnight the day you check out. Pool is HUGE. It's about 7 min walk. It's ok I would stay there again

We've stayed there, rooms are big, I know some have been remodeled, so you might want to check. I think the lower numbered rooms are older.

It is technically across the street from CA, but it's about 1/2 a long block from the crosswalk and the entrance to DLR. It's not a bad walk though. I had some family members stay there in November and they were really happy, especially for the price. It is an older property but they thought it was quiet, clean and felt safe.

We just got back from a 4 night stay there. We liked the quick walk to the parks and the price... Nothing fancy but clean and the people are friendly and you feel safe there. Internet is extra but there is a microwave and fridge. If you are on a budget these rooms are fine. ;)

My husband and I stayed there last August and for the right price I would again. We got it for about $50 a night plus taxes. Not all the rooms have the microwave and fridge but they brought us one with no extra charge since hubby needed it for insulin. Our room was older and outdated but the bed was way comfy and the pool was big. If you can I would ask for a room closer to the front than the back because after a few days that walk does seem long. It was basic and no frills but that was all we needed. They did a breakfast buffet for $9.99 a person which we didn't do because we thought it was a bit pricey. I think it was about a 10 minute walk to to the turnstiles.

The Anaheim Plaza is a no-frills hotel, but in my experience it's always been clean, comfortable, and quiet. The rooms are decent sized and most of them have either a balcony or small fenced-in "yard". When I've stayed there by myself, I felt safe (unlike a couple of other nearby places I've stayed in the past :scared1:); there are always staff around & it never feels "deserted". The pool is HUGE (Olympic sized), and there's a nice hot tub as well. The grounds are well maintained, with lots of palm trees and rose bushes. The walk from the hotel to the Park gates is about 10 minutes. Again, it's nothing fancy, but the price is right (without sacrificing safety and/ or having to stay much futher away from the park)

Heve fun on your trip!
