This is a newly "rebranded" good neighbor hotel and I got an email about their grand opening package offering which is good from May 22 - December 31, 2015 if you book by August 31.

From their site... http://www.majesticgardenhotel.com/specials
Book now by using offer code: MAJESTIC.

Your $119/NIGHT* package for TWO includes:

  • Spacious room with two queen beds
  • Breakfast buffet each morning for two
  • Free parking for one vehicle
  • Free WiFi
  • Late Check-out (1pm)
As an added bonus, you can add people to your room for just $10/person/day, breakfast included.

Can't speak to the quality of the hotel obviously, but just wanted to get it out there for people still looking for hotel options for their upcoming trips!

Edited to say: there website does have a disclaimer about "blackout dates" and taking a quick glance at their summer calendar a few dates do have higher rates listed, so be aware of that!

The way I read it was that it's a shuttle directly from their hotel to the park without any stops at other hotels, since they call it a "private" shuttle, but who knows. Couldn't hurt to contact them and ask!

It was the Sheraton Anaheim. If it's like it use to be, the shuttle just goes to DL. I'm staying there the first weekend of June so I'll let everyone know if anything has changed for the better or worse.

I am so glad I saw this post. I just posted that I needed help deciding between the Tropicana and Ramada Maingate when I really wanted to stay at the Sheraton Anaheim because I liked the hotel and had stayed there twice before. You just helped me make my decision. I am able to get the $119 rate for my trip in September! Thanks!!!!!!

I'm so glad this was helpful for you! :)

Hopefully you will have the same good experience here that you had when it was still the Sheraton. Have a great trip! I'm going in September as well and can't wait. :)

I am looking forward to hearing how your stay is. Have a great trip!

Hopefully things will have stayed the same for the most part. We've stayed many times at the Sheraton Anaheim in the past due to their great pet policy and from what the reservations lady said, their old pet policy is still in effect. They have been updating the rooms for at least the past 10 months so hopefully all of that is complete. I will give an update, here in this thread, when we get back.

I sent an email to the reservation manager to request a renovated room. She noted my reservation and advised that they are expecting the renovations to be completed by the end of the summer. She said they don't have a set date for completion, but that all the "amenities" will remain the same.

I Your trip will be here before you know it. Have a wonderful and magical time!

Hey All - I just wanted to jump in and say I clicked on an ad from Yahoo today about this hotel and they are having a contest where they are giving a weeks stay, 2 day parkhoppers, Knotts tickets and dinner at Midevil times. But the real kicker is at the end of the contest submission you get a coupon for 20% off the lowest published rate. Which from my reading of the fine print means you could get $23.80 off of that $119 that is so enticing. Check it out at http://www.majesticgardenhotel.com/giveaway/

I have stayed here in the past and I can say it is good that they are refurbishing it because it was getting a little long in the tooth looking. I would stay there for my next trip but I am using an ecv to get around these days and I do not know if their shuttle can take them. This rate is good enough, however, that I may call and ask. Does anyone here know if they can transport ecvs on their shuttle (which is a dedicated one just for this hotel, by the way).

Well we spent 3 nights at the Majestic Garden this past weekend and overall we enjoyed our stay. All the staff we encountered were very nice. They have updated the place a fair amount since our last stay there at Christmas. We stayed in a room right down from the lobby and the hallways had new rugs and art work. Our room had what looked like a new bed and headboard. The carpet looked the like the carpet they always had but it was not bad. The shower didn't back up to my ankles the way it seems most hotel showers do in Anaheim. I liked that part. lol

The shuttle is still the same. They just painted them red and purple. They leave the hotel on the hour and half past the hour. They leave DL at gate 19 at 15 past the hour and 45 past. The first shuttle leaves the hotel 30 minutes prior to the first park (regular hours) opening and the last shuttle leaves DL at 30 minutes past the last park closing. The first and last shuttles of the day are usually packed so get there early! You have to have your room key to get on the shuttle.

If you stayed there when it was the Anaheim Sheraton its pretty much the same just updated a bit. The first night we were beat early so we went back to the hotel and sat in the inner courtyard and watched the fireworks from the gazebo. You can see most of the show very well from there without any madness or crowds!!

A few things could be better though. The TV was kind of messed up. Nothing big but it froze on me a few times and I had to crawl under the table and unplug it so it would restart. Also the channels were off. The TV would say it was on Showtime when it was on a local channel. And parking is still 14 dollars per day but parking is always a hustle with most area hotels so I can't complain too much about it, but I always do ;)

We will probably go back next month if we can take advantage of the discount code JammyJam25 posted.

One thing I did notice was around town a lot of new hotels seem to be coming on line later this year and next on Harbor BLVD. Some of them appear to be pretty large. Hopefully that will put some pricing pressure on all of the area hotels.
