Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Anabella Hotel. We generally stay on Disney Property, but could not
pass up some of the great internet deals we were seeing. We got the Anabella Hotel for $59/night.
The Anabella is on Kattella just next to the convention center and just behind DCA. It is a very short walk to
Grand Californian Hotel and easy walk to Downtown Disney. It is part of the Anaheim Resort system, so there is a shuttle that runs every 1/2 from the front of the hotel. Apparently this was a recent remodel of several older hotels. I think they did a very nice job.
We had 2 rooms next to each other but not connecting. One room had a queen bed, sofa, desk and dresser (TV and Phone) with a seperate small room with day bed and small fridge, TV and phone. The bathroom is large and has a seperate dressing area with a coffee maker.
The other room was the same size and in place of the seperate room was just a bump out. This room had a King bed and a Queen bed in the bump out. There was a desk, Fridge and only 1 TV and Phone in this room. Bathroom was the same.
They furshished the room with nice furniture and plush pillows. Each 1st floor room had a small outside sitting area
between the door and the parking lot. It was very nice.
The only con about the hotel was they did not spend extra money during the remodel to add insultation between the rooms and the
floors. You could hear the people walking above your and those next door to you.
They have a fitness room, adult pool and family pool. They also have a very nice staff.
