Mum had her CT Scan last week which was all over and done within 15 minutes. After that she had numerous tests.
She has been back today to have more tests, ECG, blood tests, and have her blood pressure taken yet again. They have said she is extremely fit and is an "Enigma" as she isn't showing any of the physical signs of cancer! Mum hasn't lost her appetite and most of the time is being extremely positive.
She has now met with the Consultant Surgeon, Consultant's Junior Doctor and Keith, a male nurse who is a Cancer specialist - they have all been very nice, caring & helpful and she feels extremely happy with her treatment so far.
She has to go into hospital next Sunday, the next day her Consultant will do an exploratory op to see the stage of her cancer. The good news is that they told her today that it looks very promising that it's still in the early stages. If all goes to plan her major op to remove part of her stomach will be in approx 2 weeks.
So fingers, toes, eyes and legs crossed that it is in the early stages now!
Please keep praying and sending good thoughts - the PD is really helping!
