An Unforgettable Finish- Oct 2011 TR **Happily Ever After (Completed 5/3)

What a nice CM to try & help y'all with the stroller!

I hate waiting in the character spot. I can never keep Reid entertained there. We ended up leaving the line on our last trip.

Can't wait to hear about the boys meeting Mickey! :goodvibes

Ooooohhhh this sounds fun! I can't wait to hear how Carter and Landon greeted Mickey!

That was really nice of the CM to try to help with the stroller. Only at Disney huh?:thumbsup2

What a rotten way to leave us hanging!! I wanna hear about this character meet! Have the boys not met many of them before? I'm having trouble remembering, but don't really recall anything right away.. :confused3

Landon & the ice cream is just too adorable! What a mess!!

We've found the Disney stroller CMs to be pretty awesome with other strollers actually. Near the end of our double days, we had some issues with one of the tires and had to ask for help a couple of times. It was only an air issue, but I heard lots of their stories about coming to the rescue for non-WDW strollers. :thumbsup2 Glad the fix helped a little. Hope you've been able to replace it since getting home!

That was nice of the CM to try to help with the stroller. It's great that there are so many CM's there that are willing to go above and beyond to help.

I have to completely agree with Jeremy about the character lines. I absolutely hate them. At least when you wait in line for a ride you're behind a lot of people and the line moves.

That's unfortunate that Mickey needed his break just before Landon and Carter were supposed to get to see him. I can't wait to see how they reacted to meeting him.

Oooh, now I'm curious! I can only imagine how Carter and Landon must have reacted to warrant such a unique experience.

Ohhhh we've got ourselves a cliff hanger! I am going to guess that Carter and Landon LOVED the characters! At least, I hope they did!

Love the Ohana update:thumbsup2 Everyone looks so happy:) Ohana is my favorite dinner at Disney.

I bet the boys loved meeting Mickey. I can't wait to see the pictures.

Oh, I can't wait to hear how the boys reacted!!

I had to hold my DS2 back from running up to Donald at his first character meet while the family before us was still there. When I finally let go he ran right into Donald's arms. It was priceless!

I can't wait to hear how the boys reacted to the characters! They both seem so laid back, from the way you describe them on here, that I imagine they must have loved them! :lovestruc

Oh my gosh, you are a saint for waiting 20 minutes at the character spot! Big kudos for keeping the boys entertained and not swinging from the chains (like I'm sure Everett would have been).

I hope the reaction was well worth the wait, but I have a feeling it might be! ;)

Oh my goodness! That stroller problem sounds positively exasperating!

I wanna hear about the way your boys met the characters!!! Please?!?

I was really surprised at how nice he was about it. I would never have thought to go ask them for help with our non-Disney stroller.

It's a really hard line to wait through. The cartoons on the TV don't keep little kids' attention very well and the line just moves so slowly. We almost left that time, too.

It was a lot of fun. I'll save any more details for Part 2, but it was really fun.:goodvibes

Definitely! Nowhere else would someone try to help that much when they really didn't have to.

No, the boys hadn't met any characters before, ever. It was going to be their first time. I was really curious to see how they would like it. I was actually planning to finish up the whole update, but the pictures were taking forever to upload.

Landon & ice cream always makes a mess, but he looks so cute with it that I just don't care.

I would never have guessed the CMs would be so great about looking at our stroller. It didn't end up helping a lot, but if we ever have stroller trouble again, we'll definitely head there.

Disney CMs are the best! I really expected the guy to tell us there was nothing he could do for us, but he really did try to help. I

That's true- ride lines move much better and you feel like you're making progress and frequently, the queues are more themed and detailed and interesting. Before we had kids, we never waited in line for a character.

Landon and Carter did not take Mickey's cheese break very well. I suppose the break is timed and they just do it whenever it's time to, but it would be easier if they waited for an older kid who could understand that Mickey would be right back.

Oooh, now I'm curious! I can only imagine how Carter and Landon must have reacted to warrant such a unique experience.

Carter and Landon are nothing if not unique! Their character meeting style is very interesting.

Im sorry about your stroller and i must say, as someone who has previously worked at the stroller rental at EPCOT, im so glad you got some help because back then i knew nothing about strollers( it changes when u have a kid and work at babies r us). 2o min is a nice wait for character spot, we waited 45 minutes in dec. my nephew had to meet donald. I hope the rest of your day continues to get better

I have read all of your past installments and subscribing now! Can't wait to see how the boys reacted to the character greeting :)

Looks like a lovely and FULL day hehe But it looks like you had an awesome meal at Ohana. The best way to end a great day is to have a nice dinner.

Hooray for Ohana, ice cream and leis! What a great evening you guys had and awesome photos memories! I especially love the ice cream-smeared boys with lopsided leis and ginormous grins.

Ooooh, a cliffhanger! I can't wait to learn about Carter and Landon Mickey meet! (I bet they came together like the best of friends!)
