An owner dropped their price....by a lot!

If you are "close" (about 15 minutes or less away from any them park parking lot), driving yourself offsite is usually as fast as busses onsite, and sometimes faster, measuring the time from the door of your lodging to the park's turnstiles. The single exception is getting to and from MK---offsite is nearly always slower, becuase offsite guests must use the TTC, but onsite guests do not.

You can get measurements for "close" from the Unofficial Guide.

I had the unfortunate experience of forgetting our park tickets at home on our last trip when we arrived at the gates to Epcot, DOH! (to quote Homer Simpson) So, I took the opportunity to time how long it would take me from the parking lot to the door of our home in Windsor Hills...it was exacty 7 minutes, parking lot-front door! Now granted, I did catch both of the 2 traffic lights on the way green, it may have been a few additional minutes if I caught the lights red, and I didn't have our kids to buckle in and out of the carseats (they waited at Epcot with DW for me!).

DW was pretty surprised when I was back at the gate in just under 20 mins! (Including the time to walk to the gate from the car!)... so ..it's pretty darn close!

MK is a pain to get in and out of unless you're staying in a "monorail" resort basically.

Busses are actually slower than driving IMO...you have to wait for the next bus to arrive, then for it to leave, then they don't exactly move all that fast either. I've heard of people waiting 20-30 mins for the next bus to arrive to/from their particular resort, in that amount of time we're easily home eating lunch, swimming, napping, etc.

Obviously doens't have any one renting the condo and needs the income.

Sometimes when people often try to* over price MCO resorts/timeshares they cannot rent them, it's a tourist mecca and people are looking for good buys/good locations and want it CHEAP...........
So much too pick from and still growing in Orlando, people who own have to realize that, no matter what the sales people tell you=buy what you are buying for your own usage=with all the properties and more to come you aren't going to be a millionaire renting your condo=-unless you own several hundred of them.
Buy condos for yourself...........they have lost value, no matter what the sales people are telling you, they want to SELL so they get their commissions.

Hope you all find that bargain you are looking for, there's enough of them for everyone!!!!:cutie:

Oh thank you for the compliment! I didn't take it as criticism, it's a good question, and one we considered very carefully actually when we did our place, since it was empty when we bought it, so we started with a blank palette so to speak.

We felt that Disney theming would limit our guests to just families with kids. Bunkbeds, for instance, mean ONLY kids can stay in your homes (and we learned the cleaning people hate them!). We chose instead to keep the beds as twin beds and the theming as relatively neutral, because we can then accomodate adult groups as well as kid groups, and not everyone wants a Disney themed room. In fact, many will look for rooms that aren't.

We've found that we've actually had a lot of guests in the latter category. We did consider it, but ended up choosing not to go this route, so we could appeal to a broader audience basically.

It's a choice, but one we considered carefully actually before we went this route, we may end up losing some business to people looking for the themed rooms, sure, but our "niche" was always to provide the highest end of everything, and it's been working out pretty well so far at least.

My family is an example of your marketing. We have me-47, DH-50, DD-19, and her BF-23. We aren't interested in themed rooms (DD really isn't interested in sleeping in the "princess" room, and her BF wouldn't particularly care for a "Mickey" themed room). A "themed" home would be at the bottom of our list. We prefer your options, and that would make your unit more likely to be one of our top choices.
