No exes on FB for me. I was serious enough them that I'm cracking the door...lol.

I did visit the town one ex lives in. I was with my parents for a funeral. An ex found out, called the house and asked if he could come over and bring his very new serious GF to meet me. I was 6 months into my marriage. Uh, OK, I guess... so they came over and like others have mentioned, she looked very much like me and was very much like me--my parents thought that was hysterical. We actually sat around and talked and I decided I liked her better than him. LMBO

If you don't add him how are you supposed to see how fat and bald he got? DH's around the world should encourage their wives to add exes. When I see some of the bullets I dodged I'm pretty happy with my DH

Actually, I just thought it was so weird to see Megan M***** listed as his spouse (I'm Meghan). To think I doodled that in my notebook 15 years ago! Then her picture looked similar to me, so I clicked on her....same bands listed, same favorite movies, same TV shows. AND I think I know her grandparents!

Erin1700....after your story I looked up one of my other ex-boyfriends, I had heard his wife just had a baby, and I had to see if I could find out what they named him/her! It was a boy, and not a name I would choose at all!

My sister recently left her husband of 22 years and her 2 kids (16 and 21) for her Highschool boyfriend that started out as just "friending each other" on facebook.
(Yes, the rest of the family is NOT supportive of this).

My rule is: If I dated you, had serious feelings for you, or fooled around with you, we will not be facebook friends. I know I am happy, but it makes my DH breath a little easier that I refuse to reopen that chapter in my life.

Same here.

I also feel the younger generation has a hard time with letting the past be the past. With all the social networking today it is very hard to completely let go when you can easily see what is going on.

Hippie, this is what happened to me with an ex. About two years ago I get a invite (or whatever it's called) from a girl I dated in Highschool. I'll be 49 in two days so do the math anyway, we had dated for a few years way back then but I had no idea what had ever happened to her.

This is where it gets good. Not ten minutes had passed since I had accepted her and a message pops up on my screen that she wants to chat. I yell to my wife that a girl I dated 30 years ago wants to chat me up. She tells me to go for it and kind of laughs at me.

So we do the "how are you and what have you been up to thing" for a few minutes and then i ask if she is married and all the things about kids and so on. As it turns out she lives under 5 miles from us and married a guy she met at work twenty some years ago, then she gives me his name .... He was my wifes boyfriend in Highschool.

I guess the girls in my life know what they like. And stick to it.
