An observation and open ended question for you all

First off, greetings and salutations.

I'm more of a lurker here than a poster, but I enjoy the disboards and have become friends with quite a few members here.

I for one have really started to enjoy the dreams promotion. At first, not so much, mainly bc of how random it was, and how hard it was to get anything, and how it has upset many people.

I received dream ears today, and a dreams turret on an other I had up at the time.

I am liking the promotion now because of how it has brought us out into vmk. Over the past few days I have made so many new friends and talked to so many I haven't in a while. I had to have added at least 10 more friends so far. Of course there is the usual group I seen on a daily basis, but you get to get to know them that much better every time. It's becoming a bonus if you actually do have a staff visit. I think this is what staff are trying to accomplish as well...to bring back the fun and friends aspect of it to.

How many of you have noticed and experienced this? Isn't it great, that something can pull some of the best out of people? I've been in friends rooms and my own rooms where they have been doing trivia for free prizes out of their own good will, and in my room we've been having karaoke and (bad) joke nights as well...and it's been so much fun!

Look past the negative and look for the positive....will make things a whole lot better for ya!

Definitely noticed this. I was almost absent for most of the summer because there was nothing to do and hardly any of my friends were ever on. But I've done nothing but play catch up for most of the last couple days with my friends. And personally, I'm very excited about this theme. Granted it's very flawwed and obviously they didn't think it through as well as they could have, I still like the idea.

I agree, but I think that is because I am an adult and I know that life is not always "Fair"
I am sure the younger kids in VMK are not having as much fun as the adults this moon lol.
and it is hard for me to see so many dissapointed.
as for my personal experience...Dreams Month is so far my most favorite of all VMK time.
