Hey everyone,
I know I don't post very often, but I thought I'd pass along some news. For all of my eastern Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Cape Cod Dis friends, and anyone else that's going to be in the area, I've been recruited to play the role of Mr. Bumble in the musical "Oliver" at Mashpee High School and I wanted to extend an invitation to the performance. This is a high school performance, but I was recruited by my wife, whose music directing, because the kid who was supposed to sing the role backed out. Since they don't have anyone else that could really sing the role, and it opens March 17th, I was asked to step in. And no, there will be no 41 year old (that's me) chasing a 17 year old Widow Corney...the director had to take Widow Corney in order for this to happen. Since this is a high school performance I can't imagine the ticket prices being all that much. The performance dates are March 17th - March 20th. Performances start at 7:30 pm Thursday through Saturday, and a Matinee on Sunday (haven't seen an actual poster, but I would assume that it's a 2:30/3:00 pm curtain). For those in the area, I hope you can make it.
