And then I decided to take a semester of Ancient Greek in college. That was totally fun. ἐkέ τouς ἵππouς! (among learning how to talk about wars and muses I also learned this little phrase which, when roughly translated, means "hold your horses"!) (it really literally translates as: "you keep/have your horses").

Oh, and in case you're wondering, it's pronounced "ek-ay toos hip-poos".

ah that's awesome! i would like to learn a different language/spanish in more detail tbh but not right now when i've got school and stuff..

Random fact about the USA/England game currently: the Brazilian referees learned a bunch of English cuss words so that if the players start cussing him out, they'll know what they're saying.

Then again.. I don't really know if most people in the US could tell you what the difference is between Great Britain and England.

guilty...i'm ashamed to say this, but i didn't even know that the uk and england were different. i thought they were the same, but had 2 names...oh my gawd..i apologize to all uk and english people!!!
