An Incredible Day to be at Disneyland

Checked the App @9:50am today. It is amazing the crowd that Pixar Pier is pulling away from DLR. P. Pan only 25 mins. SM 20mins (FP @10:10am). The park had EMH/MM today, so already open for 2 hours. Wish I was there. Note to self for when Marvel Land opens.

Wow! Think how short the wait will be at DCA for GOTG when Black Spire opens. Although, I suspect DCA will be packed with people who couldn't get into Star Wars land

I wonder what will happen. Most AP's will be block from DL, but their AP might be good for DCA. Most AP's do not get to the park at rope drop, so bonus for early at DCA. Regular guest trying to get into Black Spire ( love that name) will most likely have a one park ticket, so would they use it for DCA? So many factors it is all very interesting to think about.

I was watching the wait times to at DL this morning, while in DCA. I was sad we didn’t have park hoppers. But DCA wasn’t bad at all. We were there Monday as well and it was way more busy that day. We got on so much more today and we left at 5:30pm.

We started our day in DL, and it was amazing! Lots of walk-ons!

Agree that today was a really good day to be at DL! We had one of the more relaxing days we've had in the parks in a long time.

We got to DCA at 9:02. FP returns for Incredicoaster were 12:40, so we booked GOTG for 9:45 (weren't worried about riding the coaster yesterday). We wandered through the pier, laughed at the super long lines, rode Pixar Pal a Round, then headed to GOTG, trying to book Space FPs on the way. First check, they were too early for us to easily make (10:15 return and we weren't yet to GOTG). I kept checking and got a 10:30 return right before we got to GOTG. Rode that, crossed over to DL, went straight to Space and rode that, then got donuts (they still had 3 kinds at the coffee cart!!) then grabbed FPs for Big Thunder. Ate our donuts, then right over to Big Thunder. It was great!

Thanks for the on the ground reports. I am so excited to hear that Saturday actually ended up being on of those amazing slow days in the park. I kept hearing a lot of "It is never slow anymore" and the reports of this last week being crazy busy with Disney lifting AP blockouts. It gives me hope that you do not need to pay for a "Private Event" to have a magical day at the park. Marvel Land cannot come soon enough.

That;s how it was today as well. It's usually quiet first thing on a Sunday. It was drizzly day February quiet today. Loved it!
