An historic day in Boston with DIS'er Mare (pictures)

And to think I had nothing planned for today (Sunday)....I just got to go on a little trip back East!!! woo hoo  Thanks, Dan! right on! Great pictures!

Great pictures, Dan! :)

Jack and the leopard print made me smile. He's somewhere around my dad's age. Somehow, I can't imagine my dad ever wearing one of those.

Looks like you had a great day! Thanks for posting these!

I love Boston! We took a similar walk a few years ago, so your pictures looked very familiar!

Glad you had a nice time!

Karen

Another great photo essay. I would love to visit Boston one of these days. Thanks for sharing the photos, Dan.

Great pictures, and very, very cool about seeing Jack!!! I think he'll make a great mob boss . . .

Haven't been to Boston in about 10 years . . . would love to go again someday . . .

Thanks for the wonderful photos Dan! :cool1: I was showing them to Jessie, who studied American History this past year in school. She found it interesting to "see" things that she learned about........makes it real. :)

PS No photos from dinner with Kim and castlegazer??

Wonderful pictures! I love Boston. It's such a fantastic city. I hope to go back again soon :)

Just wanted to say I had a nice time at the RFC meeting up with old friends and making some new ones.

It was great to finally meet you after reading all (well, alot) of your posts. Hope to meet again sometime!!! :teeth:

Dan - sounds like a ton of fun - That Jack photo was on the news that evening in that robe (did you send it in???) - I thought he looked ridiculous.

Yup - Leonardo is here too, but he makes a lot less appearances in public than Jack does.

Dan,

Thx for a glimpse into Boston history!! Looks like you really enjoyed your trip.
Love all your outstanding pics ~ you really have a way with your Nikon 995!! :goodvibes

My SIL gave me a Nikon for Mother's Day.
I can only hope to capture some of the magical shots you always seem to manage!! :worship:

Those are all great pictures Dan!
Glad you enjoyed the city of Boston. That's where I was born and grew up!
We will be making 4 trips this summer just to explore. Did you go to the State House?,That Gold Dome is something to look at isn't it? I love the cemetary too, I always stop when walking by there.
