Count me for the holiday pin, too. Dang it. I need one for March! This is about the 3rd one I have gotten for the same time period. Are the gods trying to get me to go TWICE??

the pin I got is for free quick service dining at a value resort, the dates listed were all in Jan 2012. The fine print said to call and ask about other dates,accomadations and length of stay. So wth, i call and tell the cast member my pin number and ask for Sept 29 2012. And she gave me free quick service dining. I know disney usally offers free dining in september. But wow, April is the earliest I have ever booked it before.. Nice to know I am set for next year already.

I looked at deluxe resorts for July 15 - 25, 2012. I was given the following:

2 bedroom (1 bedroom with lock off) BWV - $497 per night
BWI water view $318.50/$339.50 (second rate is for Fri and Sat)
YC BC water view $315/$336
YC BC standard view $252/$273
WL courtyard view $315/$336

For my pin, no BC villas were available.

When I first checked a Tower Room at CR was available, but I wanted to stay in the Epcot area, so I didn't write the price quote down.

As I said in my other thread, I had two pending offers saved on the disney web page under my USER id. I had ordered a vacation video about three months ago. I also had made a "hold" ressie a few months back for the WL, but I let it cancel because my family wanted the EPCOT area. Not sure which thing did the trick.

SO EXCITING!!!! I have always made reservations under my name. So a couple of days ago I signed DH up for his own Disney account. I then saved a vacation with the May dates we are planning to go. GUESS WHAT CAME to DH's email. A 30% off pin code for MAY!!!!!! I'm extremely excited. I would prefer FD but I'm sure not going to complain about the 30% off code. It is for 30% off resorts. I'm hoping we can book 3 rooms under the pin code as our 2 daughters and their families are going with us. We will book tomorrow if they will let us book all 3 rooms! Wish us luck!

When I called I asked if it had to be the Wilderness Lodge and he said absolutely not, but let me check availability!!!

He did not seem surprised at all that there was a pin that far in advance, but I did ask about the usual 40% or 35% off on Deluxe and he said that this is the best percentage that he has seen so far for the summer of 2012!!

Well, I just opened a new email account for my Dh and a new Disney account under his name. Apparently, his non-work email account has already been registered and he doesn't want things like this coming to his work email. Anyway, I saved some trips for our dates for each level of resort and I'm crossing my fingers for a nice 30% off PIN. Our 180 day mark is on Sunday (when I want to make dining reservations) and he's been hemming and hawing over booking. We want to stay at and can afford deluxe, but he just doesn't want to spend the $ on it. He's being a pain for sure!

I'm so happy that some of you are benefiting the way I did. I hope a code comes your way if it hasn't already. We were thrilled, yes they let me book all 3 rooms under the PIN code. We got the resort we most wanted, POR, but we did have to upgrade the room to a royal room. They said all of the standards with that code were gone. Oh well, my granddaughters will be very excited to have the royal rooms and comparing (with the 30% off code) for 5 nights the royal rooms were only a total of about $110 more per room. Not bad, and we were just so darn excited to have the code. This morning I got up early, wrestled with the online dining reservation system for 40 minutes, then gave up and called and got all of the dining reservations we wanted at almost exactly the times we wanted. Now if Southwest would just release a sale for May I would be set!!! Best of luck to all of you!!!

As suggested by others on the DIS boards, I called Disney today to see if there were any PIN codes associated with our household and they found the 30% PIN for 2012 under my wife's name! She never received the email nor snail mail to date. I have no details of the offer because we called to get the 15-digit PIN and that was all, but I know it's real and is good for all of 2012. I'm not sure of blackouts as our dates were not blacked out.

This code was available less than a week after we opened an account under her name in our attempt to "maximize" the chances of a PIN (see touringplans.com tips on PINs).

We did the same for my mother-in-law and she received the holiday PIN the next day! Funny thing is she just received the "Dear ...Family, We're glad you are considering a trip to the "Beach Club" email (one of our "saved" vacations on the website) but NO PIN!! I scoured the email and there was no PIN, just pretty pictures of the Beach Club.

I'm so glad we got the 30% off at the Poly. This makes the trip $1600 more magical. Now we will have to see if the AP discount is higher and make the purchase if so.

Thanks to everyone on the DIS board for all of the tips. It paid off for us!

I was searching and found 40% milatary offer. I never new of this. So I'm booked at PORF for about 300.00 more the Pop century
Going in May2012. I was surprised b/c I'm the spouse of retired 23 year Army & National Guard veteran . Also they have a deal on tickets,four day hopper for about 168.00. So I'm going to tickets when we get there.

O.k. I will not be much help I'm afraid because the call center knew close to nothing about this pin but ....this is the FIRST 2012 pin they have seen. So they are coming out people!!!

It says in my e-mail that they have noticed that I'm looking at a vacation at Disney in March. I guess it's a good thing that I have been creating vacations for random times throughout the year and a few at each available time. I also called about one month ago to ASK if there were any pins associated with my name. At that time I gave them ALL of my new info since we had moved and this pin was in all of the new information so that may have helped me. I have even called to price vacations through Disney "just to see" what it would cost but would always say "no thank you" at the end.

The pin is valid for Jan. 1 - Mar. 31, April 15 - Nov. 16, Nov. 24 - Dec. 20, 2012. On the e-mail it specifically says, "Experience the Magic and Save
when you purchase a 5-night/6-day Walt Disney Travel Company vacation package that includes accommodations and Theme Park tickets!
Select Disney Value Resorts $ 555 * per adult based on adult double occupancy in a standard room. For stays most nights 3/9/12-3/31/12."

I called thinking I had to book a value but it is available through all levels of Disney. It's considered a "Room/Ticket Pin" but NO ONE I have spoken with has any idea what the exact percents are.

I have tried to figure it out using Port Orleans French Quarter (28% discount) and Animal Kingdom Lodge (32% discount) but I have not asked the poor CM's on the phone to do anymore than that because these are the two we are considering.

Anyone else get this? Help me figure it out!

I received the same pin. I found out about a quote for July 10-15 for the four of us at Coronado Springs $1786.

Well, we finally got a pin code today after trying everything!!! I was hoping for the most of 2012 pin code but we got the May 2012 one.
Our trip is May 29-June 7 staying at French Quarter so the pin only applied to 3 nights of our reservation and saved us right at $200. We'll take that and be happy but I won't complain if Disney wants to send us a better one!!!
