Sorry for the long break. We are homeschoolers and so things get wild and crazy. We also just had some therapy consultations for our 4 year old and other appointments.
I sure stay busy! I've also been going to the gym 4 days a week. I want to run a 5K before I turn 31 next July. Then we can talk about running some Disney races.
For some reason this is high on my husband's list. LOL So it is on our list. I hope we enjoy it. I found some pictures of the selection and it looks like everyone should be able to find something.
He's a big Donald fan so we'll get a picture with him too!
Ohhhh do report back about POFQ! Our Disney love is a pretty interesting story.
So I grew up in Florida until I was 8 or so, but my grandparents were in Tampa. So I grew up on Disney. Our high school band even performed once.
Brandon had NEVER been to Disney. He grew up going to Myrtle Beach and Six Flags Atlanta.
I *finally* talked him into going to Disney in 2010. We had four kids, 7 and under that December. He questioned everything. Did we *really* need to use up a week of vacation for this? Was he going to be bored after that long?
His famous words were "We will go once for the kids and then that is it."
Ha.
I studied my butt off and read everything I could get my hands on. I was determined we were going to have a great trip.
About 2 hours after we arrived via Magical Express, he uttered the more magical words! "Next time we come..."
Since then we've snuck off twice without children. We are going to do one more, then we'll be SURE to get a family trip in. Otherwise, the children may revolt!

Loved Be our Guest lunch ... if you go on a park day that is not crowded in MK your wait could be less than 20 minutes. The dinner menu looks sufficiently different that it is on my "eventually" list.
We though Tusker House was great, the value for the food was very decent. We went for brunch though ... got one of the last seatings that was not lunch with the intention of doing a few rides, then going to sit down so we wouldn't have to rush through breakfast/character experiences. The character interaction wasn't one of the better character meals I've had, but it was okay ... good for photo ops, nothing exciting.

Subbing! We'll be at POFQ in Sept, so I'll let you know what we think.
Very jealous of your adults only trip. Every time I go (since having kids) it's just me and my daughters.
I love Kona for any meal. This year we're trying San Angel Inn for the first time because my DDs love the Mexico pavilion. We're also going back to SciFi for the third time. And I think I would go to Crystal Palace for breakfast even without the kids.
Can't wait to read more as your trip shapes up!
Cheryl
