NO I did not get downstairs and do my tape....bad me:headache: but I did do it yesterday afternoon, I almost put it off as it was noon, but took N-R down with me and did the 1-mile again. I was hoping to do it again today, but well....As tomorrow is Thursday and no morning commitments after getting the twins off, I'm going to do it. HOLD me to it OK!

You hang in there and I'll be thinking of you...and tell me if I sneek downstairs to the fridge to eat some candy...say "NO J-, no" ;)

I had to order it off amazon, which ended up working out well for me as I get air miles for shopping there which is what I am using to pay for my Disney park tickets. :thumbsup2 I have been feeling stressed too about the whole job search/interview process. I always get really nervous about interviews and the exercise helps calm me down for a while at least.

Thanks for the :hug: :hug: So did you do it today??I have 16 goody bags of candy in my house.:scared1: I ate a skinny cow ice cream instead.Have you had one?They are delicious!!
 
I did alot better yesterday.:thumbsup2 I didn't really count calories but I know I made good choices.I only exercised 20 minutes but thats even an improvement over the last week.

A friend has motivated me to post on my journal.I think it was helping me.
My last weigh in was on 2/15 and I weighed 146.5.

So I am only up 1.5 lbs since my last weight here but there has been alot of up and down.I have to stop binging and then losing.Not good for my body.

THis week I have been good but I can't really take credit for it.I have had a stomach virus since Monday night.I feel better today but it still hurts after I eat.

Today so far
two pieces whole wheat WW bread with peanutbutter
oatmeal and two pieces WW toast
60 ounces of water(its been hard-if I drink it fast it hurts my stomach)
A slow and short walk outside with my girls.I still feel weak and wasn't able to go far.:guilty:
 

So glad to see you back! I wanted to suggest you eat more! It is recommended that you NEVER eat below 1200 calories because that causes your body to think it is starving. Therefore it will save everything and store it as fat.

Have you tried joining Sparkpeople.com or Fitday? They are great resources and give lots of good tips for meal ideas.

Take it one day at a time, and eventually it'll be a habit!

Hi! :goodvibes I typically eat between 1200-1300 calories a day but this week with the stomach virus it has been hard.

I used to read alot on Sparkspeople but lately I have used Jillianmichaels.com more than any other weightloss site.

Habit?? That would be nice.:goodvibes
 
I ended up eating 970 cal today.A little low but my stomach didn't start feeling normal until late afternoon.

The rest of my day
Dinner-3 oz chicken breast,scalloped potatos,green beans
snack-1 1/2 C honeycomb cereal and 1 C milk
Over 100 oz water for the day

I actually felt like exercising but didn't want to overdo it and start feeling sick again.:sick:
 
I lost 1.5 lbs!:cool1: Current weight 145.5 lbs

I am off to work the concession stand at a tournament that Peyton's team is hosting.I think I will keep gum in my mouth so that I won't eat french fries,chips,candy,....:scared1:
 
I have not been exercising at all in the last month and been trying to lose weight through diet alone.Today I didn't have much time but decided to start anyway.I walked on the treadmill for 5 min(warmup) at 3.5,20 min at 4.0.and then 5 min at 3.5.It may have not been a long work out but it was a good one for me.I was soaked with sweat.:thumbsup2

I went over my calories by 100(1315 total) but not bad considering I worked in a concession stand for 5 hours surrounded by pizza,burgers,fries,etc.

Water-over 200 ounces

I am determined to have a good weekend healthwise no matter how busy I am.Tomorrow and Sunday will be spent working at the ball tournament but I have bought food to take.
 
Another successful day!!:banana: I worked the concession stand and did not eat one thing from it.:thumbsup2 I took my lunch, snacks, and water and stuck to the plan.:goodvibes Then I came home and did a new DVD 30 day shred with Jillian Michaels.It almost killed me!:scared: I am still shaking from it.

Calories-right at 1200

water-over 160 ounces

exercise-30 day shred lvel one

Have to go work the tornament again tomorrow and I am afraid I will not be able to walk.
 
Three good days in a row!!:cool1:
I was exhausted and soo sore from doing the Shred DVD( an awesome DVD done by Jillian Michaels) yesterday that I did NOT want to walk or do the DVD today.But I did and I feel better,not as sore either.I am not sure exactly how many calories I had today because my mom fixed my favorite meal( tuna casserole,peas and mashed potatos) from when I was a kid.I managed to eat less than half of the amount I would have eaten in the past and think I stayed within my calories,1200..I drank over 160 ounces of water.
Exercise
Miles on treadmill-3.5(3 miles at 3mph and .5 mile at 3-I want to keep up with my pace on the treadmill because my goal is to be able to walk at 4mph)

Shred Level One- I dreaded doing it because I am so sore but it was not quite as hard as yesterday.


Rachel is sick(again) but I am determined to not send me in an emotional binge.:hippie:

I've been hanging in there...really trying to watch those mid day snacks and not eating anything after dinner....not always so goodpopcorn:: :rolleyes1

And excerise...:headache: no good my friend...You're inspiring me to get in shape! I just have a little less than 2 mo before our Dis trip and I bought a new pair of shorts from Old Navy on sale and tried on all my others....:scared: not fitting too spectacluar here....last summer I was still nursing and weighed the least I have since having the twins almost 9 yrs ago. Would love to get back there...only 10 lbs

Hi,J!:hug: If I can do it anyone can.:goodvibes None of my summer clothes fit well and that was what finally pushed me to exercise.I want to hear that you did a video today.I know what it is like having kids and all the stress that goes along with it but we are worth a little time here and there.We are better moms when we feel good about ourselves and will have more energy when we take care of ourselves.I have a DVD that I love and its only 20 minutes.If I can't find 20 min in a day that something is just plain WRONG.

I am not kidding let me know when you do the video and I wil :cheer2: :woohoo: :banana: :cool1: :yay:
 
I did the Shred level 1 today and walked 2 miles.I should have walked more but I am feeling soo tired.I ate 1100 calories,not enough but I slept in this morning(Rachel and I slept late) and it turned my day upside down.I drank 120 ounces of water.I need to find a better way to work in my workouts.I may try to get up earlier and do some or all of my walking before I go to work.I am NOT a morning person but I need to get more sleep at night.I am usually at one of the kids' activities from 5-8pm or later every night.

Rachel has strep and scarlet fever.It made the day harder but I did alright.I really didn't want to do the walking this afternoon but I joined an exercise challenge on another message board and I am determined to complete it.I liked exercising alot better when I was able to go to the gym but I can't let that stop me.

Like you I have four children, 11,9 and twins 5. I too am only 5'4 and need to lose about 15 pds to be at my ideal weight, but I would also take 10pds too ;)

On Jan 1 I started the C25K program, as a way to get myself back in shape. I am happy to say that I have completed the program and I am now able to run 3 miles straight. Last night I even ran 3.5 miles, and I am so happy to do that.

With your fitness level right now, you too would do great on the C25K program :)

Sorry to be short, but the wash is calling my name when you have a family of 6:scared1: !!

Amy - you are not alone :goodvibes , I started the program three times and never finished it because I got too scared over the distance as it increased!!

Honestly, you should try it again :)

I think it is but this week I have had a hard time.I keep eating too few!:confused3

I may try the program again.One thing that is really motivating me is the Jillianmichals website.

I am sitting here waiting on laundry to finish up and I am hungry.But its 12:00am and I try not to eat after 8:00pm.Rachel is still sick,will have to take her to the Dr. if she still has fever tomorrow.:sick: I have been doing really well with eating/exercise I am worried about this weekend.We will be going to a tournament close to my sister and I am sure we will go to BIL's restaraunt.He owns a barbeque place that is soo good.
