Chelle, Me, 32-Amy inducted me into the Disney addict club back in 2000 and I've never been the same.
Saturday, February 7th
We woke up early and reluctantly finished packing. We checked our baggage and took some final pictures of the resort. We arrived at the Magic Kingdom at opening and headed to Fantasyland. We rode Dumbo-yes I am 32 years old and I love Dumbo! After Dumbo, we walked to Tomorrowland and rode Space Mountain twice. Then a quick spin with Buzz Lightyear. "To infinity and beyond!" Of course, Amy (always the show off) won again.
We decided to head to Frontierland. We took a leisurely stroll in that direction-taking in all the sights and smells and savoring our last day at the Magic Kingdom. We rode Splash once and then BTMRR once--then off to Columbia Harbour House for a little lunch. We then took our final rides on the Haunted Mansion and PoC. We meandered down Main Street and made some last minute purchases. Unfortunately, it was then time to say good-bye to the Magic Kingdom. We said our farwell and headed to the buses. I kept repeating "We will be back in October, there is no need to tear up." Repeat...Repeat...
I teared up a little bit anyway...don't tell anyone I am such a cry baby. HeeeHee! We made it back to the resort with no problems and Tiffany Towncar was waiting there to pick us up. Grabbed our luggage and we were on our way to the airport. We arrived home without any problems. Back to cold, cold weather and tons of snow. There was a big storm while we were gone. Yuck! Our memories will have to keep us warm this winter.
