"Amuck, amuck, amuck!" A Pre-TR (link to TR in the first post)

I found some pictures from previous Halloween parties online. I did a search and these came up. It's so cool!! I love looking at the pics. Makes me really excited to be there.

(Again, these particular pics aren't mine, but they are just too cute)

OMG, these treats from DCA look so good!! Love the cute pumpkin and candy corn designs!

Like I've said previously, I don't drink coffee, but the cider sounds good.

My list of snacks foods has grown.....:rolleyes1

Not to self: Stay away from the menus!!! :lmao: It all sounds so good though. This is my current list:

chimichanga
*turkey leg
churro
cotton candy
*Bat cookies (the ones you decorate)
funnel cake
corn dog
*vanilla coke
*Mickey pretzel
*Jalapeno pretzel
Dole Whip
*Pineapple Spear
Mickey Head bread
Tinkerbell Twist
Krispy treats
*Pumpkin fudge
*Apple Cider
Hot cocoa in souvenir mug

(The ones with a * next to it are snacks that we have NOT tried before)

Those are just the snacks. We still have a whole list of meals. :rotfl: I might have to rethink this.........:rolleyes1

Actually it sounds like a lot, but I don't order 6 churros, 6 Dole Whips, 6 corn dogs, 6 pretzels, etc.
I'll order one of something, or two if it's really small, and we will all share it. I think that's the best way to keep costs and calories down, and yet still be able to get a taste of all the yummy treats DL and DCA have to offer. :thumbsup2

Oh, and some of it will be coming home with us, like the fudge, Mickey bread, and krispy treats. We won't eat those there.

That's the nice thing about the turkey legs. They are definitly big enough to share.

Looking at the pictures in your previous post, REALLY makes me want to go in October!

Your treats sound really yummy, but of course I'm too picky to eat some of the ones on your list. I'm totally going to stalk your family around the parks (you'll know it's me by the click-clack of my hooker boots). :rotfl: j/k! I really liked the Caramel Apple Cider, I ended up getting it a few times in November, because it was cold out and on the last day of my trip it poured rain.

Oh I know. Those things are huge. I've seen groups of people with them before, but each person had their own and I was thinking there is no way I would even attempt to eat a whole one by myself.
Actually they don't look all that appetizing to me. :confused3 The turkey leg was my DH's request. lol

Ummmmm, SECURITY! :rolleyes1

;) :rotfl:

Aren't those pictures so cute?? I hope it's as fun as it looks. Guess I'll find out.
Thanks for the tip on the cider. It does sound good and I can see how it would be nice on a rainy day. I like Disneyland in the rain but not pouring down rain! That would suck. If anything I'm worried it's going to be too hot for this trip. October is so iffy weather wise. I hate that.

I have the best picture of my Mom eating a turkey leg last year and she looks positively savage.

I bet! Sort of like King Henry or something. It's the kind of thing you just have to take a picture of while you are tearing into it. :thumbsup2

Exactly but they actually taste pretty good. They are smoked so they have that smokey taste. We are a split family some of us like the chimichangas and the other half like the turkey legs.

Ooohhhhh--where do you get the bat cookies to decorate? sounds like fun!

Cheryl, if I'm not mistaken the bat cookies are back by the Woody's Roundup ranch area. Behind Thunder Mountain.
At least that's where they had the Christmas cookies that you could decorate.

Aren't they cute?? I might have to decorate one myself in addition to the kids. ;)

I had a run in with the security once... Oh those turbulent 80's. True story. :ssst:

Beth, thought I would hijack your thread since I am not sure 2 days is really enough time to do a PTR! Especially with everything else I have going on!

J/K When I saw the link, I figured I'd stop by and say hi!

My favorite holiday is St. Patrick's Day, BTW.

My mom outlawed Halloween the year I got hit by a car while dressed like a hooker!

Those look really good. I think I'm getting one for our table for this Thanksgiving.

Don't forget to take pictures for those who will be enjoying them while looking at our computer, hoping not to drool all over the keyboard. I agree sharing is good, kids usually don't eat that much of something anyway and you get to share in some of the goodies too.

Hey Christine!! You made it. Thanks for stopping by when I know how busy you are. :goodvibes

I know why you like St. Patty's Day.......you purposely don't wear green so you'll get lots of pinches. :rolleyes1 ;)

I remember that story! I don't really blame your mom with that one..... LOL

Have a good time, see ya when you get back! :)

They are so good, but if I'm buying it from the restaurant, I'll just get a slice for myself and one for Ruben.
The one for the Thanksgiving table I get from Sam's Club since it pretty much tastes the same and yet it's only around $13. I have no clue how much a whole cheesecake at the restaurant would cost. :scared1:

I will definitely be taking lots of food porn pics. That's my new favorite thing to do at Disney. :rotfl: Although I still don't think I could do it in a sit down restaurant like Napa Rose, or Blue Bayou or something. I've seen pics from people who do, but I'd feel weird. (not that we are eating there anyway, lol)

It's easy to snap a pic of some snacks though. :thumbsup2

Just caught up on your PTR:thumbsup2. Thanks for all the great pictures. Your kids are beautiful.

Never under estimate the power of Stipper Shoes...and since they pretty much sell them on every corner in Vegas, it makes it that much easier to get our way:rolleyes1

We had to give up our annual passes a few years about too:sad1: I just couldn't justify the cost anymore. We would need to go 6 times a year and as much as I would love to do that there just wasn't anyway we could.

Your Disneyland Halloween pictures only make even MORE excited!:cool1:
My trip is taking forever to get here!
My sister and I are so anticipating this trip, it's going to be tons of fun!

How's the wait over at your house?;)

Hi there, thanks for reading! :goodvibes

That's right, stripper shoes hold a strange power over men. :rolleyes1 And you are right about them being plentiful out here!! :rotfl2:

I'm sorry about your APs. If the darn gas wasn't so high, we might have considered it. But then again even with APs, each time we go we still have hotel, gas, and food to pay for, so it just adds up too quickly. Especially for a large family!!
