Amtrak - Which stop to use & rental car questions

So if we do take Amtrak to Orlando (not the Autotrain) which stop would we use - Orlando or Kissimmee?

Also are there rental car agencies at the stations or is there a shuttle to take you to a satellite office?

I can not help you with rental car. However, My in laws go on the train all the time and they use the kissimmee station. They get a towncar to pick them up. They say it is a little closer to Disney!

We have stopped at both. Kissimmee is in a much nicer neighborhood,but does not have a car rental agency like Orlando does (I think,I did not see one)..
Orlando is much more hectic getting your luggage.

Have you considered just taking the train and using a shuttle to get to WDW about $40.

Coming back home from WDW - the train is coming from Miami and going up north, which is first pick up stop Orlando or Kissimee?

We currently have Orlando drop off and Orlando pick up. I am thinking of changing stops.

Coming back north bound Kissimmee would be before Orlando.
