I have been reading these boards for a while and finally decided to register.
We are planning a trip for Nov27- Dec13, six people=dh,dd17,dd14,dd6,dbrother-in-law, and me.
The cheapest and easiest(?) way I have found to travel from New England is Amtrak.
Do I understand correctly that Amtrak prices go up as the date comes closer? I found 5 round trip tickets for just under $600. Should I book them now? I am hoping for the ap discount during that time and am afraid that I would have to change my dates to get the discount. I need to book 2 rooms and will be staying at one of the All stars. (movies doesnt give discounts???) Any thoughts from the wise would be very much appreciated.
