We needed a short getaway so we're headed to Jacksonville for the weekend. We thought it would be fun and different to take the train down to Orlando for the day. Is transportation an issue from the station? I figured we would just take a cab (pricey but no biggie) over to WDW. I'm assuming there are a ton of cabs there and we don't need to call ahead? Anyone familiar with this? I don't want to take Mears because I don't want frequent stops or anything. We're frequent WDW visitors so this isn't a big trip or anything - just quick few hours at a couple of parks probably.

Thanks ...

I'm sure cabs will be there. They watch the schedule for arrival times.

Cabs will be readily available at both the Orlando and Kissimmee (somewhat closer to WDW than Orlando) stations.
