Amtrak question

hi there,
I will be travelling via Amtrak with my 2 children, ages 9 and 10. i will have coach seats.. my question is has anyone ever been separated before traveling this way or does the conductor usually help out?
another question , when arriving at Orlando will there be taxi's ? or do I need to make reservations with a car service before hand?

They tend to keep family's together....very accommodating ...!

Taxis are available at either Orlando or Kissimmee... We prefer getting off in Kissimmee...closer to WDW, less congestion and loading to return home, Orlando is a long line nightmare ...

We do a car service personally... We need the 30 minute grocery stop they offer... Pop, beer, wine etc...lunchmeats cheeses etc... Usually can be had for 100.00.... Cab fare one way runs 50+ from Orlando and 40+ from Kissimmee... So a car service isn't that bad.....we like making picnic lunches for the pool each day....

thank you again, especially for the response about Amtrak makes me feel better know that.
I would get a family room ,however it runs over $800 each way.
at that rate cheaper to fly, which I don't like!
