No date confirmed yet but man, it's going to be amazing! Lucky enough to live on Long Island & have family in Brooklyn so I have had the tremendous treat of going to Ample Hill and let me tell you it's amazing! The Star Wars flavors were out of this world (pun intended). It's incredibly rich, not a problem just something to be aware of. As an avid Ice Cream fan I usually finish off 2 scoops no problem but it's a bit much with how heavenly this stuff is.

Can't have too many ice cream places to choose from if you ask me. Looking forward to trying it but was wondering if they have anything other than signature flavors. I'm not a fan of Ben and Jerry's because I don't like to mix stuff in my ice cream. Good old fashioned chocolate or chocolate chip mint for me.

I on't know. I do not think B&C can really handle all of the ice cream traffic, so I doubt there is any worries for them, and I do think that if one window is busy folks looking for ice cream just stop at the next. I know I am looking forward to this sweet spot!

B&C is just too hard to get to and always too crowded in the evening... definitely a need for a good ice cream place on the boardwalk too.

I've never had a problem at the walk up counter at B&C. I do like having both choices though.

That was pre ADR wasn't it? I don't know I was there in January and didn't have a problem getting my new favorite no way Jose.

Fairly sure ADRs were in place for the sit down menu...it was August 2013. I joined the outside the door once, and it just did not move! About 15 people outside the door. Gave up after 15 minutes and I we moved up 2 or 3 places. Never tried again as it was always like this in the mid afternoon and again about 8pm after dinner.

Probably has to do with where I'm from but I prefer custard. Doesn't mean I won't try the new place though. I've been a fan of beaches and cream since the first time I had it.

OMG-best ice cream we have ever had!! I almost refuse to make the trip to NY unless we can squeeze in a stop at Ample-I think we were there six times last summer! The Snap Mallow Pop and Nonna D's Oatmeal Lace are INSANE. Their ice cream will blow Beaches and Cream off the map.
