Amount to budget for F&W snacking?

I'm trying to get an idea of how much money to bring, and since this is my first time to F&W, I'm not sure what to budget for the different kiosks. I'm not a big drinker, so I've budgeted $10/day for drinks--which is probably more than I'll use. I'll have snack credits to use at the kiosks, but I know I'll be buying stuff out of pocket as well. Is $20/day too much? not enough? I'll be there 6 days and plan to hit Epcot every day but one and slowly work my way around the festival.

Well, it depends on how much you want to try. $20 per day will buy you 6-8 food items per day. Most are $3-4. Some are a bit more, some a bit less. Each stand has 2-3 items and there are 28 stands.

We tend to try one of everything, split among the 4 of us (usually a bite of each per person) so it gets pricey. We do it over two or three afternoons though so it's not as overwhelming (either cost-wise or calorie-wise).

Enjoy!

That may be one of the few downsides of going solo--there's no one to share stuff with! I was looking through the kiosk menus earlier and there are so many things that I want to try, but I hate to take one bite then throw the rest away. I think I'm going to plan for $100 ($20 x 5) and if I take some cash home, that's always a good thing.

DW and I dropped $100 in one day, but we snacked at every country and I had a beer at most. It was a great day.:)

I love going solo, but agree one of the downsides is not having anyone to share stuff with at the F&W Festival.

I'll be there solo Sept 26th-Oct 4th and bought a $500.00 Disney gift card that I plan to use for both the F&W kiosks and for meal tips. I'm on the DxDDP, so have two snack credits/day. My plan is to use the snack credits for anything over $3.00 and then use the gift card for the cheaper items and for any drinks I may want. I've got four Epcot days planned.

We're going for the first time too and I've been wondering about my snack budget! There's so much to try, and I"m sure there'll be stuff I want to try again and again....uh-oh. Better bring my stretchy pants.

I'm travelling with my BF, and we have very different tastes, so I probably won't be sharing much either.

Your plan for DxDP snacks vs. OOP sounds good. Very smart!

We are big eaters and very adventurous. The most I can remember was around $50 per person per day with just soda, coffee, water.
We tried to eat an app/main/dessert at every kiosk in 2 days.Pretty much did it except for a couple but we revisited a few.
Solo would be hard,we share everywhere including V&As:scared1:

My tip would be to print up the menus ahead and try the ones that really appeal to you.I go so far as to google the item for a description and print it up next to each. There are numerous reviews here and allears as well.
Enjoy.

So I guess it only takes one Aggie to plan a F&W trip...I always wondered:laughing:

Har...har.

That's OK. Between the Aggie jokes and the lawyer jokes, I can take it. :thumbsup2
