I have been reading up on reviews of the Blue Lagoon Dolphin Swim/Encounter excursions and seem to be noticing that many people noted a very long wait between arriving at the meeting spot on the boat and actually starting their excursion (several noted a whole two hours between meeting up on the ship and arriving at the actual excursion.) Many commented that it was almost an hour waiting to leave the ship, then a long line outside the ship waiting to go to the ferry, then more waiting on the island before the excursion. Some even noted a long wait and late arriving ferries on the way back to the ship after the excursion. For those of you who have experience with this excursion, was this your experience? DD will be 11 and would do fine with that, but DS is not a huge fan of waiting, and we love the ship so much that I'm tempted to stay on the boat with him and have DH take my daughter to Blue Lagoon if the waiting really is a huge part of the excursion day. Would the amount of waiting you did deter you from doing this excursion again? Thank you!
