Port Canaveral planning parking increase Oct 1st.

The Port Commissioners have a proposal on their agenda for tomorrow that will raise daily parking from $17 to $20 starting October 1st.

That would bring PC up to the same daily rate at Port Everglades. The way PC charges for parking, they get an extra day out of everyone parking for a cruise. If you sail on a 3-night cruise (Friday to Monday), they charge you to park for 4 days (Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon). PE works like a traditional parking garage where you pull a ticket and pay on the way out and you only pay for the actual time parked (3 days for a 3-night cruise).

Would be right, you pay for the day you arrive and leave so 5 days at $17 plus 7% tax. $90.95

We park at an offsite parking lot/ shuttle place.
I just noticed that they too charge by the day so we are paying for 4 days for a 3 night cruise. They usually have some sort of discount but the only one they offered was for the new Star of the Seas. I realized after paying that it turns out we are only saving $2 per day to do this. Kind of ticked at myself for not checking into this better
