Ammenities at AKL

We are not staying concierge this trip, just pool view, but I was wondering if you could request turndown service and robes? Thanks in advance.

Turndown service yes, robes no (they are only available in concierge).

You can request turndown service at any deluxe resort. I don't believe you can get robes at the AKL if you are not in concierge though, sorry. Of course you can call housekeeping when you arrive and ask, but I'm not sure if they'll be able to provide them. So if this is important to you, plan on bringing your own just in case

Thanks! I have a really nice robe that I got at the Four Seasons in NYC, but isn't it funny that your own still isn't the same as the ones provided at the hotel? Are the robes available for purchase in the gift shop? I might get one for MIL - she's not very girly and has this fear of "extravagence" , so I know she'd never buy one for herself.

The only WDW resort that I can recall seeing teh robes in the gift shop is the GF.

Of course they might be at others and I just didn't notice them.

Ok, silly question. But in concierge, do you get to keep the robes?? I'm staying AKL concierge 2/21 - 2/28. I'm SOOO excited!!

No you don't, if you want one you can buy them in the gift shop.

CindyLiu, you can't keep the robes, but they are for sale!

I collect WDW concierge robes!

Tell the concierge CM how many you would like, and they'll even ship 'em back home!

Cost around $75 each, but these are the nice 100% COTTON, no poly. I noticed $50 in the DTD store, but they all had Poly in them.
(and no resort logo)

So, read the labels, and ask before you buy.
I prefer cotton, the gooood stuff!

Ducklite is right also, they do sell the GF robes in their gift shop.

Oh, yes! The robe you buy will be brand new...not the one from your room, unless you really fall in love with it!

at either AKL or WL.

they just felt stiff to me...not my style at all...
