Are there any advantages to using Amex versus Visa while at WDW?

Probably depends on your rewards - if you have a Disney Visa, you will continue earning points to use for future trips. There is also a 10% off of $50 or greater purchases at certain locations, 10% off certain dining locations (just found out about this one on here!), 15% off some tours and spas, 10% off some recreation experience - you can check for list on Chase Disney Visa page. There is also 2 special photo spots, 1 in Epcot and 1 special line for Kylo Ren in HS for cardmembers.

If not a Disney Visa, no difference except if one gives better rewards for you.

the Disney Visa perks are nice if you have one.

If not, it doesn't matter how you want to give them your money, they will take it any way you want to share it...lol!

I had my Amex linked to my magic band and I had my Disney visa with me. I used the visa for the kylo ren meet and great and for 10% off a purchase we were making in a store in HS. Also check to see if a restaurant you are eating at offers 10% of for using the card.

The Amex benefits haven't been around for a while (I still have a luggage tag from when there WERE perks for using Amex - which my dad did for that particular trip). At least since Disney and Chase entered into the partnership for the Visa card.
