I never use travel agents anymore, but this time I booked our flight through AMEX Travel by phone so that I could redeem my AMEX points and apply them to the flight. I haven't received any confirmation/itinerary/e-tickets evern though 4 days have passed. I have emailed back and forth with the agent and she tells me she had the wrong email address in my file and will re-send. It is now 24 hours later and still nothing.
I have no experience with AMEX Travel phone service and I'm getting a little worried. At the same time, I feel horrible for bugging the poor agent. I've seen everybody talking about issues with Westjet -- do you think that is why I'm still waiting? Is it taking days for Westjet to issue e-tickets? Should I be worried?
