Hi;

Does anybody know if the restriction booking back to back stays (to get an additional $100 credit) is in place if you book 2 nights at the Swan and then 2 nights at the dolphin? As they are noted as completed separate bookings on the amex site.

Also regarding the credit do you have to use it in the hotel or can you use Shulas at Swan for example?

Has anyone used this system - by the time we go we will be platinum holders but gold currently. (UK so marriot cards aren't available for higher status +room credit)

It is a long time in advance ( I am trying to budget our wedding spend on a very very aproximate rate) so i know this can change.

Considering:
4 Nights Loews Portifino (Booked through Fine Hotels Amex)
5 nights in WDW Hotel *UKGUEST - so hoping for free dining, plus 14 day tickets)
5 nights in Bonnet Creek or Waldorf. (using amex points + 1 free night for gold)
2 Nights Swan - Book through Hotel Collection
2 Nights Dolphin. (Back to back if above hack works) Book through Hotel Collection or (if we have enough maybe points but i doubt we will)

Thanks;

Jodi

I think so. But I also twitch a little bit looking at your itinerary--you've got four moves in 2.5 weeks, which to me is a lot. The Portofino->somewhere else move seems like it is mandatory (assuming you are thinking Universal to start your trip). But if it were me I'd try to eliminate one of the others.

Hi thanks Brian;

Yeah it does look like a lot but we are trying to utilise our points and extras as much as possible.

We may end up doing 5 days in each resort instead and just cut down on one of the moves. Maybe even switching Waldorf / Bonnet to the end as luggage transfer looks a bit more simple between WDW and SD.

The advantage of not using all your points is that you will have to travel again later. ;-)

Given they are different companies I doubt you will have an issue with the 100 dollar credit.

They're not different companies, really. They're technically branded under different brands (Sheraton and Westin), but they're both under the Marriott umbrella.
