has anyone stayed at amerisuites at universal studios. I got this hotel on priceline for $33. I will be staying there with my 4yr son. Any info will be helpful

We stayed 1 night -- Dec. 30
We had a room facing Universal's Parking Lot & saw great fireworks from our room that night. Sorry don't remember the room number & I don't know that Universal would be doing fireworks the day you go, but I did request that view. That was our rest day before hitting Universal. Very close. OK pool (just fine, but nothing fancy). Saw our favourite sunset when kids were happily swimming in it all to themselves with Dad watching & Mom doing laundry just inside the door.
Kids LOVED the breakfast buffet the next morning that was included. I think you got a great price.

We found it very close to drive to the grocery store, drug store & B1G1 pizza at the McD's. Microwave in room was helpful too for late night snacking. Would definitely stay there again for Universal. Honestly don't know how convenient it would be for Disney though -- not trying to discourage you, I just don't know. This was our Universal leg of the trip.
