Yes, Bedknobbery, according to what I've heard about Janice's life she DID need help and her lifestyle ruined any chance of her "aging gracefully". Sometimes I wish it didn't matter so much.

I'm pulling for Shandi all of the way. She is the underdog and I like to see underdogs make it to the top!

My second pick would be Yoanna. I think she's very pretty with a classic look!

I don't particularly care for Mercadies because she's a phony. She talked about April like a dog, a couple of episodes back and then smiled in her face as if nothing was ever said.

We love this show although not as much as the first season. I would have loved a weekly series with Adrienne and Elise as the new Laverne and Shirley. They were a hoot!

We picked Yoanna and Shandi from the beginning, although DH thinks Yoanna is kind of a "princess," and yes she is a little self-centered etc. She has enough drive to make it in the fashion world without this competition.

I think Shandi should win and spend all her money on therapy! She needs it, and I mean that in a caring way! She's so co-dependent she knew *exactly* what would be the "worst thing she could do" to push her boyfriend's buttons and relive the pattern of being an "unworthy screwup." (Notice he played the script exactly by guessing right away -- he's the perfect foil for her psychodramas) She needs long-term, good (expensive!) therapy.

OMG, Janice is on Ryan Seacrest's show right now and she's had MORE surgery!!

She had those Farrah Fawcett cheeks put in and she looks like a mannequin!! SCARRY!!

This show is my guilty pleasure! It's so shallow and superficial - perfect tv, in my opinion! LOL

I picked Shandi to win it all from the very beginning. No matter what anyone says about modelling, the truth is they want tall, skinny models. She has that gawky yet fragile look.

I love Yoanna and Mercedes too. I'm sure they'll be like the Clay Aikens of the modelling world (Ruben who?). I also liked Sara, I was sorry to see her go.

Hi, I'm new here. I love Top Model!! I'm rooting for Yoanna. I love Mercedes, but I don't think she has the all around look they need. Spoiler**** Spoiler**** I live near KC and I've heard that Shandi is back at work at Walgreen's. Now, maybe she won and they made her stay there till the shows over, but I tell ya, If I had won top model...I'd be out of Walgreen's in a heartbeat! LOL Can't wait to watch the finale tonight. Just hate having to flip back and forth between that and American Idol!!

Yay I was so happy that she won!

Our local news had the 3 of them on and they all looked great and are all still pursuing a career in modeling.

I'm going to leave some space in case someone didn't watch yet..........

OK, on the news story they Shandi said that she's moving to NYC soon and she's still going to pursue modeling and she's still with her boyfriend.

Mercedes looked great but I think she still seemed upset about losing the contest where Shandi seemed like she's moved right on.

Yoanna looked beautiful and is still really excited about winning. They had questions from viewers and one asked how she handled the *body problem* comments. She said she just has to work really hard to stay in shape and that's what she's doing now. Someone asked her if she'd get surgery and she said no why would I? lol.

Yeah, Yoanna won!!! I picked her from the very beginning and loved her the whole way through. When they did the shoot where they were made up to look like famous celebrities/models and KNEW Joanna was going to be made up like Audrey Hepburn...that's the first thing I saw after the hair cut. She looks good with long or short hair. I'm going to miss this show now! I think this group of girls was much better than last year's. I can't wait to see Yoanna in the magazines. Is it Jane magazine she's going to be in first?

I was glad to see Yoanna win. Mercedes whole attitude whole attitude last night put me off. She kept referring to Yoanna as a B----. I just found her very nasty after playing the sweet on through out the season.

I'm glad Yoanna won too. Mercedes is very beautiful, but there's something so striking about Yoanna.

I'm sure with the exposure they've had, not to mention all the professional training by the best experts in the world, they will all become professional models. They are lightyears ahead of someone just starting out. Their portfolios alone are enough to get them a ton of jobs. I'm sure they will all be successful in their own way.

I agree with everything you said, with the addition that we were sad that Shandi did not get in the finals. I could not believe all she talked about was going home. Now she has that priceless portfolio and training, so she could go out and get signed with an agency and make it as a model anyway. I hope she doesn't go back to Walgreens (not that there's anything wrong with Walgreens)!
