American Hersheys is better and I really don’t know why! My husband had always said, and the Hersheys store in Niagara Falls Ontario has big bars of it specifying it’s American chocolate so it’s a known “thing”.

I like our Kit Kat bars way better the the U.S version. You don’t have Aero or our chocolate smarties either.

Not sure if the right word is ,I find your version waxy . When buying Easter candy I always look to see if there is coca butter in the ingredients because of that.

I think the taste comparison is just more of a regional thing.

I don’t mind Hershey with almonds . That is my husband favourite too.

I’d agree on both counts and I’ve never even tasted them. I dislike chocolate - let’s talk about gummy bears!! I think Haribo from Germany are the gold-standard.

All that comes to mind is their commercial….with adults in the board room talking like children. They need a new commercial or over played it because I hate it, not the gummy bears.

LOVE Haribo. I'm also a big fan of Lifesaver Gummies. I bought two bags last week on sale and they were gone in like 2 days. They're soft, so I don't get tired of chewing them like with gold bears and just annihilate them.

Slightly sour milk in the chocolate is the big difference.

I only have a garden flag I put out on Canada Day.

No sports stuff here any more. My son does have Blue Jays hats and jerseys he took with him when he moved out.

Is team USA gear more commonly sold here in the USA compared to team Canada gear in Canada?

In inherited a Maple Leaf flag from my mom and several pieces of jewelry with a maple leaf. Actually, I think the flag was actually mine, it was in my bedroom for years. Got it in 1966 on my first trip to Canada, apparently a year after the Maple Leaf flag was adopted.
