Americans and Canadians culture Q&A Thread.

I love this philosophy. Make the most of it!
Every day in Canada is a happy day. Or at least that’s what I have been told. I can understand why. There is always something to celebrate in Canada and they have a beautiful optimistic spirit. I have never met a sad Canadian.

I have a question. The USA owns Point Roberts, Washington but there has always been rumors that the USA could trade it with Canada for a Canadian territory. This would solve that crazy border issue. My question is what Canadian territory would Canada give the USA in return? Please don’t take this question to heart, I’m just genuinely curious.

I say Wullerton. (spits!)

By the way, have any Canadian Disboarders heard from @mommasita? She hasn’t been on this thread in several months as far as I know and I hope she’s doing ok. I usually enjoy hearing her perspective on Montreal. 🙁

I just checked her posts.. Her last post was in late May.. in the breast cancer thread. It was a brief post, she mentioned being a newcomer and being terrified. I hope she is ok.. sending up a prayer for her now.

Prayers for @mommasita. She seems so strong, but she has sure been tested. Sending all sorts of love and support her way.

It’s a nice place. So if Point Roberts was traded to Canada, I just think P.E.I. could be a possibility. 🤷‍♂️ This is all hypothetical of course.

Ohhhhh ok. I thought you were saying there are redneck parts of P.E.I. too.

I know this is only a small part of the province, but they (Alberta) are often called the Texas of Canada…and not in a good way. Full transparency- Winnipeg's often called Murderville.

I thought Saskatchewan was Canadian Texas?
