It was a valid question. How many Canadians could name every president?
Because we were talking about moose jaws and there's never been a Canadian born with a more prominent jawline than Brian Mulroney. This thread is so hilarious
Why is Mulrooney in it ?
Unless I’m blind, I’m too comfy to go get my glasses, Isn’t he from Baie-Comeau?
The old guy. But he wasn't always old. He was the Prime Minister from 1984 - 1993. He was 45 when he was elected. Unlike you guys, we like to elect leaders that have a statistical probability of living out their term.Is he the cartoon or old guy?
Not to get political but I do find it strange you guys don’t have term limits.Because we were talking about moose jaws and there's never been a Canadian born with a more prominent jawline than Brian Mulroney.

As for the images, they are (left-to-right):
An actual moose jaw
Brian Mulroney
Dudley DoRight (iconic Canadian Mountie from the cartoon Rocky & Bulwinkle). His most prominent feature is his jaw.

We didn’t until FDR. I believe Truman changed the law.We find it strange that you do.We use the British Parliamentary System which does not have term limits.
22nd amendment to the constitution, ratified in 1951. So not changed BY Truman but rather enacted while he was president. We didn’t until FDR. I believe Truman changed the law.
Ah, thanks for that.22nd amendment to the constitution, ratified in 1951. So not changed BY Truman but rather enacted while he was president.
Annette’s dog would never be so gauche as to run away! Now THAT’S a good place to watch your dog run away for three days

Annette's dog, if she had one, would actually be a ficus or a set of wind chimes (in other words, not a dog) because Annette is not a pet person.

Same for every American naming a Canadian PM.Who said anything about naming every Prime Minister?
We could, though, name one previous president from the last 40 years lol
If your kin are from there, we are most definitely related.
I’m going to need some resolution on this. If you guys are related, that would be amazing lol

My kin are definitely (at least the last time I saw them) right in town limits. I hate to disappoint @prairie_girl though. We are all one big family united under the maple leaf.

Canadian visits the USA:Ha! Maybe we’ve been on this thread too long - we’re starting to sound like Americans. You’ve heard the old classic: “You’re from Canada? Cool! You must know Dave. Toronto Dave...he works in an office. You know Dave, right?”![]()

I mean, yeah...normally, but in this case, the chances are pretty high. A friend from the Book of Faces reached out a year ago to say hi. I hadn't talked to him in at least 25 years, but I showed up on his feed or something through an acquaintance. He told me that he was now in Grande Prairie, and I was like, "No way! I wonder if you have met any of my family? They have the same last name I had when you first met me." As it turns out, yeah. One of my family members was his daughter's teacher at school. We are talking Grande Prairie here, not someplace big like Regina.Ha! Maybe we’ve been on this thread too long - we’re starting to sound like Americans.
