hi can you use a american sim in a vodafone e72 ?

i was told you could, but in the shop i was told i could not.
i hope someone can help.

To use a US carrier SIM your phone needs to be network unlocked.

Most phones can be unlocked depending on the carrier you will need to see how much/if they charge.

Your phone needs to be sim unlocked as Elise said however when we went in 2004 we didn't know this and we picked up a phone in Walmart (theres a large one in the international drive-ish area) for 28 dollars that was pay as you go. Its a cheap alternative and worked out great for us x
