American Idol: Who's going to win?

I really want Clay or Kim L to win. Ruben is just not my cup of tea. He has talent, but I don't think he's consistent. Some days he is great, other days he isn't so hot. I think Kim L will be gone on Wednesday, but I think Ruben should go.

I really like Clay and Ruben both. Hard to choose, they both have terrific voices. As for stage presence...... I don't think either excel at that, but talent like they have has to be rewarded!

I agree with you, boardwalkbusker, I'm hoping that Clay and Kimberley will be the final two. I have a feeling, though, that it will be Clay and Ruben as the final two. Ruben was one of my favorites in the beginning, but it seems like he is the same week in and week out. For that reason, I think Clay will be the winner. Clay shows variety and personality while on stage, and Ruben doesn't. Go Clay!

The American Idol has to have a great voice, but I think they should have a lot more than just a great voice. That's why I want Clay to win. He works with kids and tries to be a good role model for them. I think the American Idol should be a good role model.

I really want the final 2 to be Clay and Kimberly, with Clay obviously winning. I'm afraid though that Ruben might win, and I'm just really not into him.

My family is all rooting for Clay to win!! I agree with Debi, Ruben sounds the same week after week after week. He has a great voice, but Clay's voice is just as good and he adds variety to the songs he sings. He has tried lots of new things (like last week's 'hip-wiggle'--LOL!) with his presentation. It's Clay all the way!! Now, we all have to VOTE!!!!!

I guess it boils down to what you like and what you don't like.

Ruben is what I'm used to and what I like. I love Clay also. They're both talented and for the first time I'm torn. I want them BOTH to win! Too bad they can't have co-winners!

Clay! He's just so....wonderful! Great voice and a great role model and so much fun! According to my Entertainment Weekly, he's always joking and leading the stuff in the house.
I like Kim L, too, but I think she'll be out this week and the final two will be Ruben and Clay.

I really hope its CLAY, he is the most versatile and the voice! ruben puts me to sleep, and kim is just okay, nothing special.

I'm happy with the three that are remaining, but I'm giving the edge to Clay - he has the voice, the personality, the sense of humor - all great qualities!!

I don't know about Ruben or Kimberley much other than their voices, and the fact that Ruben's from Alabama and is wayy proud of it...beyond that???

I would buy each of their CDs when they are released.

Clay!! I hope that he and Kim are in the final 2, they were my favorites from the beginning. I never understood what was so special about Ruben...he's good, but not THAT good. And he's gotten so boring and predictable. I don't even think I would buy his cd, because I would get bored listening to it!

I've also noticed that Clay is the only contestant who has never been in the bottom 3/2. That doesnt really affect anything, but I thought it was interesting.

I'm expecting it to be betwwen Reuben and Clay, with Clay winning.

But...I am still rooting for Kimberly Locke. That lady can sing, has a special look, and a personality and inner smile that shines through. And I love how she can sing a song without over-selling it. But if she wantes to make it through to the final two, she better pull out al the stops this week and let it rip - like she did with "New York State of Mind".
