American Idol....Who will be voted off??

It's the battle of the blondes and I think that Kim C will lose. Just because Carmen has gotten more votes then her in previous weeks.

After last week's debacle, I have lost faith in the voting system.

I'd like to see both of the blond's go, but who knows what will happen.

She was absolutely awful last night! Far and away the worst of the bunch.

Kimberly Caldwell--haven't liked her from the beginning--she didn't do anything to change that opinion.

Trenyce--gotta' go with the judge's--okay, nothing spectacular.

These would be my bottom three picks! We'll see how America votes.

Josh gave a really good rendition of Piano Man. Ruben, same old same old. He's good, but. . .?? (I was glad to hear all of the judges tell him he needed to "change it up" because they were getting tired of the "Barry White thing". AMEN!) Kimberly Locke--I agree with the judges on this--she gave one of her best performances last night--I knew she had a voice in there somewhere! Clay--what can I say--he was wonderful last night and I was very happy to see him make a change! (I'd like to see him "perform" more to go along with that wonderful sound!)

These four are safe! Now, if only I were doing all the voting. . .


The competition is getting good now. The Billy Joel theme this week seemed to suit most of the contestants well. Can't wait to hear what next week's theme will be--could we be lucky enough to get a "Broadway Show Tunes" theme to really show off Clay's skills--maybe a little "Phantom of the Opera"?

I've learned in the past couple of weeks that there is a BIG DIFFERENCE between who SHOULD be voted off and who IS voted off.

It is painfully obvious that Carmen or Kimberly Caldwell should go. However, it has been painfully obvious for WEEKS that they should go. For some reason they have some huge following that continues to vote for them even when they STINK!!!!

I thought that Kimberley Locke stole the show. She is getting better and better. I'll be really PO'd if she is in the bottom three this week.

Dodie, I agree with your list except I would switch Josh with Trenyce to be in the bottom 3. Maybe because I really love Billy Joel music and Josh picked an awesome song (LOVE the Piano Man!)

It keeps getting worse and worse....I know she is young..but has she ever heard of Clearasil!!!!

I would think Fox would help her out!

Well I seem to always be wrong when it comes to picking the bottom 3 and the person to get voted out so in my hopes that the final 3 are really going to be Carmen, Kim C and Trenyce with Carmen going home I am going to make the following official predictions:

Bottom 3: Clay, Rueben and Josh
Going Home: Rueben

There you go! Now that I have officially picked Clay, Rueben and Josh they should be safe and maybe (just maybe) the correct people will be in the bottom 3 and the correct person will be send home tonight! You can all thank me later tonight!

Carmen HAS to go! She has been due to go for weeks...last week particularly.............and althought Kim C did not give a great performance, it was MILES AND MILES AND MILES better than Carmen........Please, I hope Carmen finally goes home...it is just too bad Rickey had to go before her...the man has talent, so that is a sad thing.

I thought Clay was the best. I was unimpressed with Ruben and had to agree with Simon. I think Ruben was in the bottom three.
But there is no way the votes will go that way...this season is turning more and more into a popularity contest instead of a talent contest.

I was a fan of Vanessa's and hated to see her voted off so early. With them all basically singing the same style of song over and over the last couple of weeks and not getting out of the "box", I feel that she would definately have livened things up for us and we would have seen some better performances. Maybe a couple of the top 3 should be shaken up a little. Maybe, here's a thought, they are too confident and think that no way will they be voted off before the final three.
