Actually, you may be one to something. I know there have been many people that stopped watching on Tuesdays after Adam would perform and that is why some are saying he gets the pimp spot each week. Maybe they figured out that when they say Adam is safe early people are tuning out. I'm sure advertisers wouldn't like that much.

Unfortunately, I've been in this industry long enough to KNOW that's what they're doing. They have a deal with Jamie's people and their later advertisers to make sure they stay till the end.... AND the end of the season.

The downloads alone have them aware of Adam's appeal, they're using him to ride to the end. Whether people like him or NOT, they have an opinion about him... and they will tune in to see him win or lose.

But if you look at the ITunes ratings, Adam has 7 of the top 10 downloads... he beat out current recording artists! He has HUGE appeal!

That was the top 10 of the Idol downloads only. The rest of the top 10 were Kris with 3 and Danny with 1.

Well, I survived last year when Michael Johns left because I had David Cook... this year I don't ever HAVE a second, only Danny and Allison are maybe 3rd and 4th to me. Everyone else could've imploded for all I cared this year.

Exactly, I could care less if anyone else is there. Allison is okay, but there is no emotional investment.
