I like how Adam changed it up. Being the kind of performer he is, everyone expected him to go all out and be as flamboyant and crazy as possible, but he again changed it up and kept people guessing. Love it.

And you're right, Damo! I never thought about how the judges give certain people a hard time week after week for not being unique, yet Danny comes out every week and struggles through an exact replica of the song and the judges love it. It's so blatant who the producers are pushing for.

Actually, he could probably pull it off and all of us that him would think it was fabulous, but it wouldn't have been the smartest move. There are people out there that would be turned off by that and would not vote for him ever again if he really went diva on us. But, I am not surprised that he did a slow song. He seems to be having a pattern of fast/slow/fast/slow. Unless I got one of my weeks out of order on the downloads I've been listening to every day.

I agree. He does seem to have it all planned out. He knows that not everyone is a fan of the over the top stuff so I think he tries to keep everyone happy by alternating his stuff just like he would in a concert.

I just used youtube to watch Adam because I couldn't wait until 8 here in California. I have always liked that song. Wow what a change. I shwed my son and daughter the original too. I thought he was amazing.

Danny is consistently boring. They crapped on Lil and Matt for not changing their songs up and completely gave Danny a pass and he just mimics the original every single week.

This week for me Adam took the whole show- the rest are no where near him talent wise, he is so above this whole show...... Other than that it was

and afrer that it is hard to choose, the rest can go home tonight for all I care

Dialidol has been really really far off in the last few weeks. It had Lil second and Kris last, last week. Ended up Kris was safe and Lil was second from the bottom.

I don't like him either. I do think he's talented but he's creepy to me. I think he would be a very good Broadway performer but not a recording artist.

1. I thought Adam sounded fine until he went into his ever predictable SCREEEEEECH mode. Must he? Yes.....Apparently, he must. Paula said she could feel his pain, but I thought I could SEE it. When he tries to emote, he looks like his tooth is being drilled without benefit of anesthesia. ACK!

2. Lil....Oh Lil. Why can't we vote for the person we want OFF the show? Im sure she'd "win" hands down. She shoots daggers with her eyes when the judges criticize her. Truly, I want Matt to not be voted off this week, so the message sent to her is, "YOU were the one who should have gone home LAST week."

3. Allison has a strong voice, but I just can't get enthusiastic. She seems likeable enough, but every song seems just like the last one she sang. Husky-voiced rocker chick.

4. I think Danny has a nice voice and hits notes well, but I wish he'd have gotten more creative this week.

5. Kris/Chris (?) Liked what he did. Sounded like vintage Santana or Jose Feliciano. I LOVED him last week.

6. Anoop---Never expected Dim All the Lights. Pretty decent until that last line. That was a bit rough. I had to go on youtube and see Donna Summer sing it after the show to get the real deal. I used to love that song.

7. Matt--Not bad, not great. Hope he stays on this week to stick it to Lil.

All in all, I thought this week was better than last week. Movie song week was awful.
