DO you all actually vote? Yesterday I voted for Adam 4 times

I say I am going to vote each week, but some weeks I dont watch AI until the next morning.

IMO-I think Danny is popular mostly because of his sad story about his wife dying. Sure he has a "good" voice. I dont believe he could ever top Adam's voice. I also don't think Danny could be #1 this year based on his singing alone.

omG I could not agree more... has anyone heard Aerosmith sing Dream On? How about Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love? It works for the classics but not for AI?

I cracked up at that part! He said parts of Adam's performance were like watching Rocky Horror and Adam laughed and said he loved it. I do too! As much as I'd love to see Adam hit it big, I'd love him to end up on Broadway even more. He'd be amazing in Rock of Ages (the most fun show ever!) or a revival of Rocky Horror. Love it!

For me this season just seems like a battle for second place. None of the other contestants are good enough to even hold Adam's guyliner!

Very true! I'm usually into the more lighthearted, fun shows or the ones with rock music - Spring Awakening, Rent, Rock of Ages and Joseph are my favorites, but I loved Legally Blonde and Cry Baby this past summer. Hairspray, Footloose, Saturday Night Fever... all those fun ones I love. I don't have the patience for Les Mis, Phantom, or Cats. So something like Spiderman would be right up my alley, but I just can't see them turning Spiderman into a musical without it being absolutely ridiculous I thought that about Legally Blonde too though, and was pleasantly surprised, so you never know

I saw Spring Awakening last week here in Toronto when it made its tour stop. I thought it was fantastic! Les Mis and Phantom were far down the list of my favourites too. Sweeney Todd was way up there.

I am thinking that people may be texting way more than in previous years. The fact that Kris was bottom of the barrel on dialidol last week but didn't even make bottom 3 on the show means that something else is starting to take effect since the dialidol results have been very, very accurate in past years.

My thoughts on last nights show:

My favorite was Adam, everyone else but Kris just put me to sleep. I agree with Simon that songs like last weeks (Mad World) will get him more votes. I absolutely loved the string section during the first part of Born to Be Wild. I don't know if everyone caught it but they were up waving their bows above their heads. A lot of America may not get him but I think the musicians in the band definitely do.

I liked parts of Kris's song but thought he was too weak on the first part. At one part he sounded like he may have forgot the words, if he did he recovered so well that in the end it didn't matter. Still was my second favorite.

Did not like Allison's performance. She was back to mumbling a lot of the words. Just not her best.

Anoop was just OK. Kind of boring.

I think Matt was off key for part of his song and it was also boring. I think that they hid the mole a little better last night but I still don't understand why he doesn't have it removed. It is just too distracting and could so easily be removed. If I had something like that in the middle of my forehead, it would be long gone and I am not performing on millions of high definition tv screens every week.

I don't get Danny. I hate that gravily way he sings. Also didn't like Simon bringing up his late wife again, I didn't see any tears. This was not Danny's fault but it made it look like the show was trying to get sympathy votes for him again.

Lil was just bad. I can't believe that she is as high on dialidol as she is. I hope that it is wrong. Who would possibly be voting for her over the other performers?

Overall, just a boring show. Maybe some of these guys aren't capable of producing excitement. If they are going to sing slow ballads, they have to be able to knock them out of the park in order to be exciting. Just hitting the notes (some of the time) won't do it.

Adam was awesome last night. I don't think it matters if he wins or not, he will definitely get a career boost out of this. I hope we get to see him on Broadway in the near future.

I think the judge's save would go to Adam, Danny or Allison.

His mole is really distracting. I find myself always staring at it while he's singing. I really like Matt, but the the mole has GOT TO GO!

I wouldn't be sad if that was the bottom three, even though I do like Matt. I'd be ok w/ Anoop and Lil both getting the boot tonight...if only!
