Tonight was so boring! My order is...

1. Adam
2. Kris (I love that song, and think he sang it well)
3. Anoop (Hate that damn song!)
4. Allison
5. Matt (Boring)
6. Danny (Boring)
7. Lil (Boring)

Whoever's voting to keep Lil in this competition needs to stop I don't even know who's voting for her but her mediocre voice and attitude annoy me to no end. She needs to GO! Danny too... I think he sang the same song three weeks in a row now BORING! Adam's the only one who changes it up and I love it!

I would love to hear him sing Science Fiction Double Feature, the one Riff sings at the beginning.

Hot Patootie or even Susan Sarandon's Toucha Toucha Me would be interesting.

Who was the weakest in your opinion?

IMHO, it was a toss up between all of the other 6. Adam stood out as the best to me. Allison did good, but I didn't love her. All of the others were just boring. It is almost hard to remember what everyone sang it was so boring. But I remember Adam. Did you get to see him and hear Simon's Rocky Horror comment? Adam said he loved that movie.

I know I don't send any. Don't know of anyone other than my niece who has it.... I'd have to pay for them as I don't have the texting plan from Verizon.

As much as I'd love to see Adam hit it big, I'd love him to end up on Broadway even more. He'd be amazing in Rock of Ages (the most fun show ever!) or a revival of Rocky Horror. Love it!

BUT Lil is totally right, they tell her to make a song her own, she does that and Simon says "but this was a Bette Midler song" like she should not have changed it all. Tells Danny it is ok to change a Lionel Ritchie song but she can't change a Bette song???

I think they want Lil to sing stuff from younger people. It wasn't so much about changing it up. It was about singing songs from someone her own age.

No was at a viewing... How did Rocky Horror get mentioned? He did have the Eddie look--tight jeans, chains, sneaks...

I just found a video of Adam's performance and it was slightly theatrical but the best of the night.

I saw that on Playbill.com the other day. I don't know how I feel about the Spiderman musical to begin with My brother's been talking about it forever but I don't know if I'd be able to sit through it, I hated the movies. I'd go to see Adam though!

Hey if they can do a Young Frankenstein and Shrek -- a Spiderman might not be awful... It might be a bunch of men in tight suits!

If you have ever gone to Universal and "met" Spiderman, there isn't much left up to the imagination.

Very true! I'm usually into the more lighthearted, fun shows or the ones with rock music - Spring Awakening, Rent, Rock of Ages and Joseph are my favorites, but I loved Legally Blonde and Cry Baby this past summer. Hairspray, Footloose, Saturday Night Fever... all those fun ones I love. I don't have the patience for Les Mis, Phantom, or Cats. So something like Spiderman would be right up my alley, but I just can't see them turning Spiderman into a musical without it being absolutely ridiculous I thought that about Legally Blonde too though, and was pleasantly surprised, so you never know

How old is Simon? 13? What was with him opening & closing his mouth while Kara was critiquing someone. It was like he was mocking her. Although it did turn out to be about the 2nd most exciting part of the show. That's not saying much.

I almost never like the songs Adam sings until he sings them. I don't think there is really a contest anymore and hasn't been for awhile, he can just nail anything he does.

I also loved Allison tonight, I have always liked her but she did really well tonight.

I can't fathom what West Coast demographic is voting so heavily for Chokey and Shrill. And why is it that when Danny invariably starts shouting his song, around the middle of the tune, with a voice that sounds like he's gargled with sand, his supporters are delighted, yet when Adam rocks it out in his higher register - in tune, I may add - all of a sudden it's not OK?

Perhaps, it's just a different taste in music. I'd be interested to hear if the anti-Adams enjoyed listening to the late, great Bon Scott of AC/DC, or the fabulous Ian Gillian (Deep Purple), Robert Plant (sure screams in "Whole Lotta Love"), Janis Joplin, Axl Rose? All were considered among the greatest rockers of their day and Adam brings the same sexy energy, vocal chops - and yes, screaming - to his performances. And that's rock 'n roll.

Anyway, I'm glad in a night of snoozer ballads (I think the others were trying to replicate his success of last week), he brought something new and exciting. I'm also glad he's not letting himself be pressured to stay in the "musical theater" box because he's made it as clear as possible that he did that to pay the bills but it's not where his heart is.

I feel badly for Anoop, because I think he did a very credible job but he never gets the tongue bath reserved for Gokey. Lil and Matt were painfully off key throughout the performances but it looks like Lil may be headed to the top 4.

omG I could not agree more... has anyone heard Aerosmith sing Dream On? How about Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love? It works for the classics but not for AI?
