Based on his performance this week he should have been the one to go, it was painful listening to that!
I liked Allison and am sad to see her go I was hoping for an adam allison finale!

I don't think people would have chosen to vote him off because of one song...he's done too well throughout the entire competition for that.

I knew as soon as Kris was safe Allison was in trouble.

Danny should have gone last night. He was horrible, down right dreadful as Simon would say.

Can't believe he can sing a song like Dream On and BUTCHER it to pieces and still be safe. Poor Michael Johns did it 100% better and he got the boot.

I was hoping for a Adam and Allison finale, now I want Danny to get the boot next week.
I just hope Adam becomes the winner, he is the only one left that has true talent.

I think the "save card" thing was a little more choreographed than we think. They would not have been able to use a "save" in these final weeks, as scheduling is too tight. Had they used a save for Allison (which would have made me happy, too), then they would have had the "homecoming" episode for 4 contestants. Producing and airing homecoming packages for 4 contestants along with alotting time for 2 songs each would have been way too much.

On an entirely separate rant, IMO, Paula embarassed herself last night. It's one thing to lip sync a song. But at least lip sync well. And at the VERY least, lip sync to your OWN recorded voice. And, in summary, do not poorly lip sync your fake voice on a show where YOU are judging vocalists. Bad idea. Sure she can dance, but does that surpise anyone? She IS a dancer. What she is not is a singer. Sorry to rant, but I feel like when they try to pull this crap, it's just an insult to our intelligence and taste. We know better, you idiots.

Anytime any singer gets that "Britney" treatment with the techno voice, I know they can't sing. Even her dancing was not that great. Kind of slo-mo. Of course, my DH was like, well she IS old!

It was bad. And not to be petty, but when they showed her talking to Ryan after in another dress, she looked like she didn't have time to put her bra on! Her "girls" are usually more pushed up and perky, and she looked horrific.

I came in from my trip last night at MIDNIGHT, was on a plane when AI came on so I had to wait to read this thread.

I was SO BUMMED when Kris was saved, but it gave them the drama of wondering if Danny's note killed him. I am so sad to see Allison go, I've liked her from the beginning. Kris bores me but I don't HATE him, he does deserve a place.

I ff'ed thru Gwen, Short Bald and Surly, and Paula's Fiasco. LOVE DVRs!!!

I see Danny and Adam in the finale. Danny has had a BIG following since the beginning and if votes COUNT ( ) he'll make it to the final but AI will not allow him to win the year after David Cook, too similar.

I don't think that votes are based on one performance. Sure, rock isn't his thing but then again, country wasn't Adams and he got some horrible reviews for that week. If the voters had based their votes on that week alone, he'd probably would have been off the show long ago.
