uh-oh......please don't go for the pity votes Crystal....."i've got a lot going on in my personal life"......don't do it!!

Didja notice everyone's from a SMALL town? Heck, Atlanta is the smallest town I've ever lived in! :confused3

It was too late from the start. The clip they played before she sang was enough for the pity votes. :sad2:

well....let's hope that tomorrow David Cook ends up showing some of them how it's done right on this show.....:cool1:

He'd be their savior at this point. He'll come on and the heavens will shine a light on him, and he'll point at the contestants and say "Just say no......to crappy song choices." :lmao:

Goodnight everyone. Celebrating another mediocre night and no one I want to vote for.:surfweb:

i'll see you all tomorrow night......i'll be (im)patiently waiting to see David Cook perform a Rolling Stones song while making/eating my Corned Beef and cabbage!!

maybe HE'LL sing Satisfaction, since no one else did. could you imagine him singing that :faint:

ok.....i'll stop now lol

Overall, not as bad as I thought it could have been. No real train wreck tonight. Some not so great performances...but I did miss 3 of them so I can't comment on Lee, Paige or Aaron.

I do think that they need to do away with singing a particular group. Stick with a decade, or genre. They keep saying we want to hear the kind of music you would put out...well let them sing that kind of music every week.

Singing a famous groups songs they will almost always fall short. They can't sing with the same emotion because the songs really mean nothing to them, they picked them because they had no choice and that they wouldn't stink big time singing it.

Sorry, but that's a funny typo.

ita. that's been my problem too. "sing songs that YOU would sing" but then they tell them "well no, you're going to sing Rolling Stones/Queen/Beatles and none of them were around when any of these bands were popular, anyway(altho I love Queen!!)

Great, now that you mentioned that, I'm going to get my hopes up. GOSH DURNIT! :rotfl:
