I agree. You don't have to hide your religion, but I don't want people to exploit it in attempts to win votes. I feel the same way about all the sob stories. We've all had adversity in life, now get up there and show your SINGING talent. We're not voting for you b/c you've had asthma all your life or your puppy just died.

yeah no one's asking people to HIDE their religion, just don't CONSTANTLY bring it up, shove it in people's faces, and expect to get votes from it

I do like his voice a lot though. I am not familiar with this song..but my head is kinda bopping a little bit here.

and this all reminds me of when Michael Johns was in during season 7 and the judges kept telling him that his BEST performance was during Hollywood week when he sang Bohemian Rhapsody and then every week they said it got worse(Altho i disagree)

I know these guys are boring and generally "stink"...but the judges are probably confusing the contestants. We just sat here and listened to them tell two people they should just sing, stop trying to change the song etc etc...then they tell this guy to change it up, stand out. So I guess what they are trying to say is...change it up to something we like and we think America will enjoy...Why don't they just say it?

so...coming from someone who HAS tattoos and who's DH has tattoos and most of my FRIENDS have tattoos, i have to say if you don't like it, don't look at it.

sorry....i had to get on my soapbox for a minute there. but it's getting a little crazy with everyone talking about hair, clothes, and tattoos. you can always look away from the tv.

i'm not saying i like Andrew's tattoo either, but it doesn't bother me....i can just look away.

Sorry to quote you again, Lil, but I totally agree with you about Michael Johns. He was terrific!

He gave an awesome performance on David Foster's PBS special. Love him!
