American Idol Top 20 Season 9

I'm with those who really don't care who goes home. The girls are barely okay, and the guys about one step above that. There just isn't anyone this time around who 'rocks my socks off'. Not a good season at all....don't much care what the 'dawg' says.

Let it be known now, that I will not be voting at all this season. Not for anyone. I don't care about any of them. None of them deserve to even BE there, much less WIN. So disappointing. I loved Idol, and now it's gone. This is such a let down of a way to end the show (and I firmly believe it's done).

You know what WOULD be better than these clowns (aside from a root canal)? How about an all-star show? Bring back ALL the winners and have them compete for the ultimate Idol crown. THEn end the show. Could you imagine??

I thought most of the girls were much better than the guys.

Loved Crystal the most! Was so glad she didn't have to withdraw from the competition. It worried me for a moment when Ryan stopped her as they were all walking out. But was so glad he was just encouraging her and giving her a hug. Also liked Lacey, Katie, Katelyn and Siobahn.

I really want Haeley to go home the most! Can't stand her Buckwheat grin, hair bows, her lisp, and especially her voice. Go home already! Lilly Scott can go home tonight too, hopefully.

Ellen can go home too. She adds nothing. Go back to your talk show.

Battle of the Davids should be AWESOME

Carrie would probably not show up because she's too much of a superstar to compete with a guy who does burrito commercials

Jordin should whip Blake soundly on height alone and who here wouldn't love to see a B slap between Taylor Hicks and KatPee?

Kris would just have to concede to Adam...

Yeah, there are shows like "Top Chef Masters" and "Survivors All-Stars"...why not an AI 'special-occasion/short-run' spin-off? Sounds good to me.

I also would like a show just made up of AI rejects....just think about who would be on that show, perhaps chief among them being Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson .

We were out to dinner last night and thought that the DVR was set but apparently American Idol was listed as the lowest priority so it didn't record. We got home about 8:15 and came in when Ryan was talking to Katelyn. When I heard their conversation, I realized that the show must have been pretty bad. Based on the recap of the performances at the end of the show, it didn't look like we missed much.

I've never been a fan of Haeley, Didi, Lilly or Paige.

It will be interesting to see the reactions tonight!

Looks like no one is committed to voting if you check Dial Idol. They only have Paige, Crystal, Siobhan and Lee with ANY feedback and the rest even at 0.

Like others have said I truly believe that this is the end of Idol. Why else would they have put this boring group of non-talented singers through. There is really no one memorable and even last night I could not remember who was voted off last week.

Tonight I hope Haeley (I could sing that song better and I am not that good) needs to go. She should have gone last week. I also think DiDi, John and Todrick need to go.

I hope it gets better in the coming weeks but I am not holding my breath.

Btw, if you want a real guffaw, go to the official Idol site and read their community board for a while. The sycophants whining about "No this season IS really good...it's YOU that's messed up!" is hilarious! I don't care how much you love Idol (and I LOVES me some Idol), this season is terrible.

They sent home REALLY good singers in Hollywood for forgetting lyrics? Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.

At least I now know why Mary whatsherface didn't make it through. She was too good.

Haeley.......Where to start? The lisssssp? The goofy, nonstop grin? The big hair and even bigger bow? The bug eyes that DH said reminded him of Jack Sparrow when he had the "painted on eyes"? (You know....he closed his eyes, but he still had the painted on eyes that seemed as if they were looking at you...) I swear to you, I was not joking when I said she makes me think of Eddie Murphy doing his Buckwheat imitation. I fully expect her to start singing, "Meech out and dutch dumbody's an. Make this murl a better pace, ip du tan."
