I just want to start off by saying I loved Jason last night - that arrangement of Somewhere over the Rainbow is awesome.I knew I had heard it on a commercial but didn't remember which one. Thanks. I don't think it would have been right for him to sing it the original way. I was not able to get through on his number though - hopefully that is a good sign that his line was jammed with voters. (can't believe we have to wait another night to find out who is going home)

As far as David Cook - he is DH's favorite but last night was not a good night for him - the song choice was not great. And David A. - can't say I like him. Last night was just mediocre and the judges fell all over him - like it was the most awesome performance ever. I just don't understand it all.

And for those that keep saying Carly should cover up her arm - why??? She has just as much right to wear a sleeveless shirt as anyone else. So why she should be covered up because she has a tattoo - are other's offended by it??
Isn't that what this country is about - freedom and I think that would include freedom to have tattoos and show them off and as long as she isn't showing off her private parts she should be free to do as she pleases. And for what its worth - that is not a FULL sleeve - a full sleeve would be her whole arm not just her upper arm.

I don't feel that she should cover up the tattoo. I just feel she should broaden her wardrobe. She has only worn sleeveless outfits ( only once do I recall a shirt that had 3/4 length during a results show) and they are not always flattering. I'm all for tattooes, I love them. I just don't think she has to show it off ALL of the time. We know it's there, it's pretty cool, no need to show off the PARTIAL (or whatever the correct term would be) sleeve every single week. I have no problem whatsoever with her husband's tats either. I actually have meant to google him to see if there is a picture to get a better look at them.

ETA~ Ok, I correct myself, I found one picture from Idol and Carly is wearing a long sleeve shirt and singing.

I thought for the most part it was lame and cheesy LOL but I think that what they wanted, I was so mad I stayed up all night to watch Brad Pitt and wouldn't you know it my the show was interrupted for weather

I also went to buy Seasons of Love from the ITunes store, that Seacrest said we'd be able to download, but it's not there.

I only watched it because it was on, mainly, and my dd wanted to see Miley Cyrus LOL. Honestly I didn't pay attention to half of it, and fast forwarded through several parts of it.

Funny from last night...DD (6) and I were watching and Fergie comes on and sings and then she comes back out to sing with Heart and DD says "Mom? I don't really like that blonde girls pants."

She had on tight black leather.

And DS (11) wanted to know who Gloria Estefan was.
