And for those that keep saying Carly should cover up her arm - why??? She has just as much right to wear a sleeveless shirt as anyone else. So why she should be covered up because she has a tattoo - are other's offended by it??

The tats don't bother me at all. I just wish she would cover up her FACE when she sings! I find her scowl very distracting. The crazy part is that she is beautiful until she starts singing.

I have never been a Jason Castro fan, but I loved his performance last night. That version of "Over The Rainbow" is one of my favorites. I had never heard it until that tear soaked ER episode where poor Dr. Greene died. I keep the Israel Kamakawiwo'ole version in heavy rotation on my iPod. Jason did a really nice job.

This has nothing to do with singing, but was no one else disturbed by the EIGHT year old girl holding up a "Lick Those Lips" sign?!?!? That was just gross, in my opinion!

I think Paula should thank whoever double (or triple) stitched her dress seams....
Otherwise, she was probably one breath away from a wardrobe malfunction.

And, I'm in the minority this week. I liked David Cook's performance. His voice sounded good, he's still my favorite. The thing that really bugged me, was that the backup singers overwhelmed his voice for most of the performance. They really drowned him out. I think I'm going to buy the studio version from iTunes, I think it'll be much better.

I didn't really like the other performances. Overall they were all kind of boring this week IMO.

This week did nothing for me either, and I agree about David Cook. He's got an awesome voice, but when he did sing, it seemed like it was all one note and when he did hit it, the background singers were louder.
