well i hate Chris Daughtry with the fire of a thousand suns(Adam Lambert is also in there with him) so i can't really answer that question without being biased lol

Still, I think we can at least agree that regardless of who you are Taylor Hicks is surely worse. Yuck!!

Definitely. I remember when I watched that. I literally got up from my chair, scream "WHAT??!?!?!!?" and then proceeded to go "Noooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!" Buzz Lightyear-Toy Story 2 style.

Though it was a blessing in disguise...if he had won, his music might not've been the same. I don't like all his music, but for the most part it's alright for me. Plus he's a lot easier on the eyes than Taylor Hicks....Taylor looked like a middle aged man...that's not from the hair, either.

As long as the winner doesn't have Robert Pattinson's messed up oily head of despair, I'll be able to survive. His hair is just something else....it LOOKS like it smells...and not like strawberry shampoo.

Lady A...they did so good on the awards show. I was thinking of you every time they won.

i've never even heard one of their songs, tbh. altho i did see the youngest one in Toronto last year at a Cirque Du Soleli show. he was in the VIP room with me and DH and he was a row behind us during the show.

i was always a Backstreet Boys fan so i know ALL about the crazy screaming fangirls. altho i admit....i did turn into one at the AI 7 concert when David Cook came out....i couldn't help myself! i scared my friend half to death when i did it too lol she wasn't expecting that at all!

My daughter told me tonight that the Idol tour is coming to HSBC this year...too bad no one will come to it (at least not us)

I personally was an *NSYNC fan myself....I still hold hope that one day they'll get back together...

and Oh, the AI 7 concert.....the intro to David's set....I still remember it like it was yesterday..."thunder, lighting everywhere....darkness and flashes of light with an orb on the screen onstage....then the echoing sounds of David faintly whispering "hello...hello.....hello....."

Oh, and Lil, the theme next week is songs of Frank Sinatra.....oooooh boy, I hear enough of that at work.

and does anyone else notice that the male lead singer in Lady A looks a lot like Ryan Gosling?

N Sync was the boy group of choice in my house. I liked both NSync and BSB..but my girls LOVED NSync. I have pictures of them standing in front of the White House (well, in front of the fence across the street) wearing their Justin Timberlake t-shirts when we drove down to DC to see them in concert. It was the closest city I could get tickets in...so we made a long weekend out of it.

I guess she had to scream ONE MORE TIME, to remind us of how much we'll love NOT hearing that every week.

and wow...she had 4 whole mins to herself on the show.....and people are talking to her, hugging her.....that's a LOT more time than all the others booted off had. *sigh*

They actually ran short instead of over....amazing.

As long as the winner doesn't have Robert Pattinson's messed up oily head of despair, I'll be able to survive. His hair is just something else....it LOOKS like it smells...and not like strawberry shampoo.

he looks so much better when he's playing Edward than what he looks like in real life. heck, he looked good when he played Cedric in Harry Potter. idk why he doesn't feel the need to do his hair....maybe he thinks it's a "cool/hip" thing or something.....do the kids even say "cool" or "hip" anymore???

well TRUTHFULLY i'd pick gray over bald. DH even has a few gray hairs already as it is, and he says when he gets full gray he's not dying it.

My one brother started going bald at 20. By the time he was 30, he had a shiny head with a reflection. My other brother is just as bad, but he only got that within the past 7 years or so.

The sons of Sylvia are the Guys who won that "next great band" show a couple of years ago. The were the Clark Brothers then. I always wondered what happened to them.
(sorry if this was already posted... I started reading, but have to head to bed now.). Good show tonight though.
