I personally loved the look on Tim Urban's face when he found out he was safe. He seemed surprised as anything.

Glad he got to stay though. I think he can do well if he just picks the right songs. That's crucial for him, for sure.

Well, that was a disappointment all around. Sure, I didn't really care for anyone that left, but the girl that sang the Leona Lewis song is the only one who I thought should've gone tonight.

I'm most shocked by the two guys that went home. Granted, I think they seriously overpraised the Munoz kid, and the other kid was just a 60s/70s parody, but there were worse singers last night ("Get Here" guy being particularly heinous).

I don't know...I say this every year, but if they don't kick it up a couple notches, I may not be watching the Top 12 this year.

I thought he was funny, not a really good igner. IMO, American Woman is a pretty easy song to sing, and he had a rough time with it.

yeah how fair for him, everyone else got to sing their full song and his got cut off. i would have rather listened to his performance than any of the others...

Oh but it's so much more fun to jump to the trash mouth theory..especially coming from me with a huge trash mouth. If someone up there actually did swear it wouldn't even faze me in the least...I'd rather really just hear it then have it cut off.

And my trash mouth comment was more tongue in cheek..I would never say those words in real life..

i liked Tyler's laid back attitude and he was pretty funny, but Alex definatly had the better voice out of the two of them.

Okay, so I missed the show and need to know who went home. I see that Tyler did, but what other guy? What girls? Please tell me the 16 year old that smiles to flipping much.

Tyler and Joe Munoz (can't do the tilde' yet lol), and for the girls, Ashley Rodriguez and Janell Wheeler.

Ok, I missed tonight's episode. I just went through really quick on my DVR just to get the gist. I'm sad Janelle went home. I thought there were far worse girls that could've gotten the boot. Plus...Tyler? I mean, I wasn't a fan but the mullet dude should've gone -- or the little dude who won the American Idol Experience. Boo! I'm really curious who is going to win this season. I think I'm jumping on the "whoever sucks less" boat. Booooorring!! Lets hope it gets better.

That sucks! I really liked Tyler and I think he had the potential to do really well in the competion. I think the little kid (who reminds me too much of David Archuleta for me to ever like hom) or Jermaine Sellers should have gone home.

IMO John Park should've left.

Well, I kind of liked Tyler. He had a little bit of a swagger to him. Could have brought something interesting to the show.

Didn't like Joe or Jose or what ever his name is today. So, not to sad to see him go. I still thought a few other should have went first, but the way his forehead casted shadows over his eyes kind of freaked me out a little. I kep thinking his one eye was missing.

I am very surprised for the girls. Both of them were cute girls and normally they stick around for a least a week or two before they get the boot for just being horrible singers.

I'm really disspointed the 16 year old that made my ears bleed didn't go home.

Oh I hope so. Goodness gracious, I'm not feeling this group like I have the previous 2 seasons. There's no one here that's jumping out at me. That's never a good sign in my book, because in season 7, I loved David Cook from his audition right away, and knew for sure at his performance of "Hello"....season 8, I liked both Kris and Adam, but I loved both. See where I'm going with this?

Someone better jump out at me next week, or unripened bananas (courtesy of Ellen) will roll.
