SO happy for Lee...he seems like he wants it a lot more than Crystal. I thought it was cute how he went to his elementary school. Wish I taught there. haha

I felt kind of bad for Casey though.

So sad that I will not see Casey each week.

I never thought he had a chance to win and I am glad he got to the top 3.

Funniest line of the night was when he said " Not every single comment was useable" The judges gave such horrible and contradictory advice this season!

The homecomings for each of them were really fun to watch. They all seemed to be really touched by them.

Also, I read on the Idol boards that the little girl Casey sang to was his little cousin.

I was sad to see Casey go. I've been a fan of his since the first night. I didn't think he would make it to the final two, but still sad to see him go. I loved how how sang his song with that little girl on his lap, so sweet. I just wonder what kind of album he's going to put out. If it's like that first song he sang on Tuesday night I probably wouldn't buy it, but if he goes with southern rock like I think he should, then I probably would. Guess I'll just have to wait and see. I do love his voice though.

Loved seeing the hometown visits, and seeing them with their families.

Ha! This is the way my mind works too. I'm thinking...in real life he would have been dead from the plaque or something by that age!

lol i mean i know the "legends" are mostly myths and haven't technically been proven, but let's at least be SOMEWHAT realistic here! and we're supposed to believe he didn't even meet Marian until then?? i mean, come on now!

Anyone catch Big Mike looking at his watch at the end of the show? For him, it was probably the longest hour in his life. Sitting in the audience instead of being on stage.

I don't know that I will ever be able to watch any Robin Hood movie after watching "Men In Tights"! Cary Elwes was soooooo funny!

Although I do think that Alan Rickman was the best sheriff EVER!!

and i don't know how you can consider that a "prequel" when Robin Hood, in that movie, is already in his 40's! there's no way! back in the time when that whole myth was centered around, people barely even lived to BE 40, let alone becoming an outlaw and living in a forrest at 40.

I got that from Entertainment Weekly's review of the movie. So, blame them. They gave it a C-.

I just read an interview with Casey and he said that since the beginning of the show he had Crystal and Lee pegged to go a long way so when it came down to the three of them, yes he figured his time was up.

He also elaborated on the remark he made during the elimination show that he didn't think he'd win or get that far - well, he didn't think he would make it onto the show because he considers himself a musician more than a singer so he didn't think they would want him on the show.

The little girl was his cousins daughter - he babysits her and her brother quite often.

I don't like ANYONE on the show or the season... pitiful. I feel like I just broke up with a good boyfriend! "it's not YOU, it's ME".

I've had a couple season where I didn't really care...actually three...last year..glad Kris one but only because that meant Adam didn't. The year with Fantasia...yuck...worst season ever....and the year with Taylor Hicks. Good thing there have been a few good years in between them otherwise I would have to have given up a long time ago.
